Relaxing mountain getaway with fantastic views!

Enjoy a peaceful stay in a rural setting. It is a working ranch with cows in the pasture and many farm-use outbuildings. You’ll have access to the house, along with surroundings full of nature and fresh mountain air. Get a taste of Montana life that you’ll want to come back to over and over again.
Nestled on the west side of the Bitterroot Valley, this property sits on over 50 acres of breathtaking views. Day hikes can be found just a few minutes away at Mill Creek Trailhead or Blodgett Creek Trail. You’ll have the advantage of seclusion, with amenities nearby. Hamilton is a historic “Hallmark-like” town just a short 15 mins down the road if needed. It’s filled with quaint shops, unique eateries and sporting goods stores to tend to your adventures.
We hope you'll find your stay at Tamarack Ranch to be a pleasant one. You can enjoy the sun set each evening on the deck and watch for birds and wildlife. The summertime offers seasonal active creeks throughout the property as well as a small pond that attract ducks and geese. There may be cows off in the pasture, so please be mindful of the animals and any gates you enter through if you choose to explore the acreage! We do have someone come by to tend to the cows daily, but their visits are very short and should not be a disturbance to your stay.
We do have a couple hall closets and one additional small room (not included with the listing) that will be locked during your stay. These contain our personal effects as we still visit the home often.
