"Firstly, the location was perfect for us. We landed at Hamburg and one direct train took us to within 2 minute walk to the front door. "We booked a large, one bedroom apartment for a combination business trip and family get away. Great location, really friendly staff, small kitchen but absolutely useable. The washing machine in unit is beyond tiny but still very useful."

Visited the Christmas markets that were still open the week between Christmas and New Years. Great variety of food and crafts. On a Saturday afternoon/evening in late December, the city was alive with people on the streets and in the shopping areas
