"High quality accommodations, extremely comfortable and well equipped. We stayed at the suite room that had a separate bedroom. Location was on the top of a hill with views of the valley and the Gilboa hills. Beautiful short hiking trails right near the room. Room was very clean and inviting. Access to huge Swimming pool was included Staff was helpful at check in. "

"Was beautiful except you can only enter the “dining area” at certain times, and there is limited ways to get to properly. Also, I left sentimental earrings there and the owner’s son said he sent them, and didn’t (despite offering him $$). :("

" AVOID AT ALL COSTS. This is not a hotel, this is a 1-star hostel at hotel prices. Two critical points: 1.) The hotel had a full on cockroach infestation. Our room was crawling in cockroaches (pictures included) 2.) Given the cockroaches, we asked for a refund on 1/3 nights. The host confirmed he would refund, but never did…. "We arrived to find no one in Reception at 5pm, and only a number to call. Annoying after a 3 hour trip. There was no working wifi, although they said they had it, and only a cold shower. Torture. Very simple room. Two beds, nowhere to put our things - no closet, no shelving. For $200 a night that's not acceptable. "

"This is very much a hidden gem. It was like a little oasis. We especially enjoyed the pool, hottub and jacuzzi. The place was very clean and the area very quiet. The host was extremely attentive and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was great. We will definitely stay here again when we are back in the area."

"We came at 6:15 pm when confirmation letter said check-in is till 7 PM. NOBODY was there, reception locked with a sign OPEN. Tried to find anybody, no luck. Booked another hotel and went there. Need our money back. El Mul must let people know that they are a kibutz, not a hotel. That makes a slight difference. Other kibutzim are stating that in their title."

"We had a feeling of a bit of false advertising, as the place is wedged between two active farm and house hold. The bathroom and toilet were smaller than most tiny apartments in TLV or NY. The bed was small (I'm 1.80m and could not sleep comfortably there).extremely noisy. The pool, while heated (great) was also on the shallow side ~1.10-1.20 and next to an active warehouse. "

"Very beautiful hotel well meantian very good staff helpful & professional. The room was very nice with view to the pool & sea of Galilee. Breakfast was very good. Nice gym & pool. Nice garden leads to the sea shore. We recommend this hotel very much definitely will com again."

Highly Recommended Experience at the Scots Hotel

"We highly recommend a stay at the Scots Hotel for adults who appreciate beautiful antique-style historic buildings with beautifully maintained gardens and a quiet and prestigious atmosphere. The hotel is very well-maintained and immaculate. The staff was helpful and friendly. This hotel is not suited for kids and is designed for guests over 16 years old. We will be glad to stay at this hotel again."
