"Wonderful hotel right on the harbor with an incredible mountain view. And that breakfast is fantastic--huge breakfast buffet with something for everyone! Would highly recommend. And it's centrally located and walkable to restaurants and attractions--many tours pick up right in front. Loved it!"

"Very clean room with spacious bathroom. Heating in both worked very well. Excellent convenient location across the road from the main ferry terminal (for the Hurtigruten and Havila coastal voyages) and Airport Express Bus stop. Local bus stops, supermarket, shopping mall with pharmacy, Tromso's pedestrian high street (Storgata) and northern lights tour meeting points are all within 5 minutes walk. My arrival was delayed by 17 hours due to the last minute cancellation of 2 long haul connections by the airline but the hotel held my room booking for me when I messaged them en route. The included buffet breakfast was excellent! Andy at the reception desk was very kind and nice when I finally made it to check-in at 12 midnight. He told me where I could walk along the waterfront to see the northern lights. After an exhausting and unexpectedly stressful 45 hour journey and 4 flights, it was a welcome relief for check-in to go so smoothly. Note: Photos on the hotels.com and official hotel website showed the double standard rooms have sea views but this is not the case. Room 728 has a slightly obstructed city view. "

"A great place to stay in Svolvaer. The staff were very welcoming, and after a delayed flight arriving in the evening it was great to walk in and find an evening buffet available! Breakfast also had a wide range of options and was the perfect way to start the day. The location in Svolvaer is very convenient for everything and being on its own little island is obviously pretty scenic. I'd happily stay here again."

"The apartment was beautiful with gorgeous views of the harbor/area with vast ocean views as well. Dinner at their restaurant was outstanding, as was our server. We got to see the northern lights one night which made our day. The sauna was beautiful also, and right on the water to jump in for cold plunge. Constructive criticism: the young woman at the desk during our check in process was at times short, not as pleasant as she could have been. There should be napkins and/or paper towels with salt/pepper in the apartment - those small things really go a long way to giving a guest a more pleasant stay……"
