"Property is well equipped and comfortable, in a stunning location at the bottom of the valley. Beautiful walks from the door. Visiting the on-site and fascinating Vindolanda roman ruins and museum is an absolute must when visiting here (this is not dog friendly). Would highly recommend this property for anybody looking for great walks from the front door, a pub reasonably close (around 30 mins walk on very quiet road) with great food and dog friendly (Twice Brewed Inn), a cosy woodburner for cold nights in, and well equipped kitchen/dining space for home cooking!If your pet requires an enclosed garden, this isn't necessarily ideal. There is no garden attached to this property. The garden is opposite and is escapable, so lead walking is required (if you have a dog like ours who likes to explore and doesn't have great recall!).all 3 bedrooms have ensuite with shower, upstairs main bedroom also has bath - downstairs bedroom is serviced by a jack and jill bathroom which also services as the down stairs toilet. We would have no hesitation in rebooking. The whole area is a walkers paradise, and this property is bang in the middle of it!"

"Our multi-generational family absolutely loved our stay at Fell End. The house was decorated for Xmas and is beautiful throughout. The facilities including movie room, hot tub, table football, table tennis were awesome. The house is homely, warm throughout and stylishly and comfortably furnished! Great value!!"

"It’s a lovely cottage, spacious and homely, on a farm with view of fields, hills and sheep. It’s in a good location for visiting all the local historic areas. Hadrian’s wall, the Roman museums etc we even drove to Edinburgh on one of the days. "
