Much needed getaway!
Amazing view! Beautiful community! Todd was a fantastic help on the property. Cozy getaway we’ve needed, such a cool atmosphere. Morning coffee looking at the ocean, that is literally right there, words can not describe. We recommend this rental to everyone!

This place was not as described nor looked like any of the pictures. Sure nice beach at one time but not one of the photo this property owner has posted is correct. . We only stayed the one night and left the next morning after sleeping in our cloths. The owner would not answer his messages when he did he was of no help and made you feel like you were a bother. Your choice but I would not recommend this to anyone. True photos of the place are on google reviews

The property was dirty, and very unkept, there were cockroaches in the refrigerator, and one of the bed sheets had stains (he didn't know if he put clean sheets on the bed and had to check) Not to mention the hosts were very unresponsive to questions once the place was booked. We got no instructions on how to get into the property and sat outside trying to contact vrbo for an hour trying to get into the property. The price for all of this was outrageous for the conditions it was in. Would not recommend at all. Better to stay at a hotel with a beach view.

The view. Absolutely amazing view. Sleeping and waking up to the sound of the waves. Don’t book if you expect a fancy room to stay in. This is beach house charm. Todd the owner is good people. Husband was doing his workout on the balcony in the morning, Todd gave him weights for duration of our stay. Would book again.

The location was amazing... But...For the price though, the room was not in great condition. The door was painful to close and lock, the tap in the shower had vice grips on it to turn the water on and the WiFi wouldn’t work anywhere in the room and a very weak signal outside. The taxes and fees were more than a nights stay. Apart from the view you don’t get much especially for how much you pay.

The location and view was awesome, the property was very run down, owner would not return calls, no internet, lights not work, outside chairs all brojen, smoke detector broken, fridge was dodgy, door kept opening, neighbours told meche is operating an illegal business thats why he does not answer phone? If you like Surf, this is for you.
Rocky Point is an amazing location right on the beach and great for surfers and athletes. It is exactly as described. I recommend a longer stay to take full advantage of the surf access and kitchen accommodations. Rocky Point is not fancy. If you are not willing to accept it with its limitations (no AC) and physical requirements (it's a surf beach, not a gentle beach) I can't recommend it. We did not enjoy our stay but that is because we are not surfers and like our comforts but we accepted it for what it is and spent most of our time on other parts of the island. It's a couple of miles to the nearest food truck restaurants (which were all excellent) but the gas station is walking distance and has good coffee. Todd and Kenneth were very responsive to our tiny concerns and very friendly.

Loved it. Best time ever. Lastminute however double booked us. Todd, the owner, handled the situation with grace setting us up in another unit. Looked after us in so many ways. Can't praise him enough. Right on the beach, between Sunset and Rocky Point. We met many great people too. A week was too short. Can't wait to return.

The property managers never answered any of my calls, voicemails, or text messages. We kept calling and texting them ALL DAY trying to get check-in info. Radio silence. We showed up at the property and there was nobody there. Terribly unprofessional. How these people actually run a business is beyond me. Maybe they don't need good customer service because they make tons of money by surprising you with doubling the cost of the room by sneaking in hundreds of dollars in hidden "fees" that you don't see in the initial price of the room. We ended up having to find an emergency hotel room and ended up driving almost another 2 hours to get there. Once we were in bed falling asleep a full 6 hours after our promised check-in time, they finally got back to us.

No working smoke detector, had the wires hanging out. The refrigerator looked like something they picked up from a used appliance store. The stove has rust all over it. The dishes-utensils are a mixed up mess just thrown together from what appears to come from multiple garage sales. All around the outside the wood is rotting out. They did a half-assed job of painting; front side looks good but the back is another story.
