"Very friendly and helpful staff. Location was a little difficult to find but staff was a great help. Free parking, no AC, and no elevator so luggage must be carried up stairs. "

"We had a wonderful stay! It was snowing and we had a long drive so we let them know check-in might be late. They said no problem and offered to have the kitchen prepare some dinner in advance as it would likely be closed when we arrived. We exchanged WhatsApp messages and dinner was reserved and ready for us when we arrived. Vlad greeted us and was an incredible host during our stay. He was friendly and helpful beyond the call of duty. I would stay here again and highly recommend it."

"It was ok for the price we paid. There was some complications trying to contact the host to arrange check in but we got in ok on arrival . Room was ok, quite basic , no facilities to make a hot drink. There was not much loo roll provided for 2 nights Relying on public transport, it was a fair walk to town on rough path right by main road "

Hard to close/lock the door to the room, employees lack hospitality experience - completely unprofessional reception/service. Neighbour with noisy machines and wood cutting tools in the garden kinda ruined the morning mood. Rather expensive for what they offer."

"Horrendous experience. Do yourself a favor and book a reputable property nearby. I booked a room for one night and was sent a message confirming the booking several days in advance. The day prior to my arrival, I was sent an email asking for information including name, passport, and address. "This is a very nice hotel, very clean and beautiful setting. Getting to it is an absolute nightmare. One has to travel down almost 2 miles of dirt, gravel road up the side of a mountain, the GPS that I was using got completely confused and sent me down the wrong dirt road, someone from the hotel had to come to the town square to lead me cause it was impossible to find the place. "Perfectly located in the centre of the old town, with a great breakfast. Lacked a bar on site, but plenty of options nearby. Only negative was that the room was so hot, and there didn't seem to be any way of controlling it. My room looked out on to an inner courtyard so not a lot of natural light coming in. The front facing options perhaps better in this regard. Overall i would recommend."

"Very difficult for parking but not only this property sinceはは it's in central. We stayed with kids and mini dog for 9 nights and loved their interior and enough space to feel comfortable. "We stayed in the Avantgard apartment and while the location was great; right in the centre of the old town, within walking distance to many cafes, restaurants and shops, the apartment did have a few issues. It faces the main road so it was quite noisy throughout the night. The apartment itself is also very creaky, especially the loft where the bed is. Highly recommend.

"I actually arrived a day before I had booked my reservation and Eszter was kind and helpful and got me in a day early! There was a private balcony that overlooks the Black Cathedral that I had all to myself and enjoyed a cup of hot tea complimentary included with the room. Very good location and multiple breakfast options from two easy to get to locations. I ate at the restaurant directly below my room which has vegetarian options too. I will definitely stay here again and recommend to a solo traveler or anyone looking for an authentic hotel in a perfect location, safe, friendly and clean. "

"I loved it here, had a lifestyle suite which was brilliant. Everything was really really great, the staff so kind and attentive and the food wasbrilliiant too. The spa is excellent and had a brilliant spa evening. I can highly reommend. Its a bit of a trek from the old town but nothing a very well priced taxi cant fix."

Nice Spot

"This hotel is historic and has cool details, and is located very close to the old town square. The bathroom was clean, the breakfast buffet was ample, the hotel is pet-friendly, which is a bonus for me, and the staff was friendly and helpful. If you forget to reserve parking at the hotel in advance, there's a Regina Maria parking garage 10 mins walk away. My only negative was that the bed wasn't the most plush...it was just a thin mattress. But I was exhausted and slept fine regardless. "
