Riads in Haiti

"I booked this hotel for 4 nights but only stayed for 2—and even that was a nightmare. When I arrived on the second day of my booking, there were no rooms available. Once I finally got a room, there was no running water most of the time. I had to go to the lobby and beg them to turn it on just to shower or use the bathroom. Electricity kept cutting out, and the AC barely worked. The toilet seat was old and broken—you couldn’t even flush after using it. On my first night, I couldn’t shower or brush my teeth because there was no water. I woke up sticky, sweaty, and miserable. I left after 2 nights and asked for a refund for the remaining night, but they refused. This place was filthy, uncomfortable, and completely unprofessional. Save yourself the trouble and book somewhere else."
