This is a Luxury 4 Bedroom / 3 Bathroom home located within the Championship Golf Course at Southern Dunes, an exclusive gated golf resort community. MILEAGE TO WALT DISNEY RESORT AREA APPROXIMATELY 24 MILES AND UNIVERSAL STUDIOS IS APPROXIMATELY 29 MILES. Not only does Southern Dunes offer a great 18 hole golf course but there is also a club house, restaurant, and full bar. There are three large community swimming pools, tennis courts, and a playground for the little ones, as well as a fresh water ponds. Prefer to stay in? Then stay home and enjoy your own personal Games Room with pool table!There are two large Living Rooms with plenty of seating and a formal dining with seating for eight people. All are perfect locations for those large family gatherings at the end of the day where you can discuss all of your day’s activities! The main Living Room also has a large Flat Screen TV with pool access.

Master Bedroom features a Queen size bed, Flat Screen TV, and a Private En-suite Bathroom with bath tub perfect for soaking in.
Bedroom 2 has a Queen bed, Flat Screen TV, and a Private En-suite Bathroom.
Bedrooms 3 & 4 have 2 Twin beds each with flat screen tv's and share a bathroom

Swimming Pool: POOL FACES THE EAST. The relaxing pool area with massive pool deck is fully screened in with a private pool, sun loungers, table and chairs. The pool overlooks the beautifully manicured Golf Course with all of its natural beauty. Perfect for enjoying the sun all day! If you’d prefer you may also use any of the 3 community pools. Place was great, it look just as the pictures shown. I was very disappointed that the listing said that there was cable/satellite and there was not. There was a binder with instructions at the house that said use your own streaming services. Aslo the pool was under video surveillance and that was not stated in the listing. We got the house for privacy so we didn't have to share a pool. I understand that the surveillance is probably for safety but it should have been stated in the listing. I personally wouldn't have stayed there knowing there was surveillance in area's that my family would gather in. Outside surveillance is fine and there was that too that was also not in the listing.

Great house for a golf trip

Great Vacation Home for the price!
The owners are an absolute pleasure to deal with. The home is in good, used condition. The interior could definitely use some updating as far as furniture and appliances. Overall the home was clean but could have been cleaner. I notified the homeowner directly after we departed of my specific concerns. The game room is as described in other reviews. A pool table with broken pool cues, an air hockey table that doesn't have air or light up and a fusball (SP?) table. The game "room" is actually the garage. The pool area was clean and the pool was clean as well and there was a net to skim any debri that came in. The patio furniture was in good condition. Overall, for the price, we would stay there again. I do hope the owners are responsive to my private communication regarding some minor and major improvements that are needed.

The only issue we had was with the pool. It was quite dirty, we didn't let the kids use it. Besides that everything was great. The rooms were very clean, along with the bathrooms. I would still stay here again.

Clean and welcoming home - would rent here again!
I stayed on this property with an adult friend for 4 nights as we were here for the Haines City 70.3 triathlon. The home is located in the large gated community of "Southern Dunes" and contains a golf course. This must be the place to be because I felt like I was staying in "Athlete's Village" since the location is only about a 10-15 minute drive to Lake Eva for our event and there were lots of other triathletes occasionally riding their bikes or running on the streets (which I felt very safe doing.) Overall House: Very clean! It has a great set-up, pretty open, and I enjoyed the tile in the main areas. Lot's of space throughout and plenty of room for guests. We visited two other homes in the development where our friends were and I must say we had the better one. Bedrooms/ Bathrooms: There are 4 - we used only the two single bed ones that had their own master baths. The other two rooms have 2 twin beds each with a full BR in between. The master mattress was a bit uncomfortable and may need replacing down the road - the other queen mattress was fine. The BR's come with hairdryers so don't pack one. Pool: Since it was already warm in April, we did not pay to have the pool heated. There is a solar cover on the pool which does the job as the water was just fine. We removed the cover and kept it off for our duration. Be careful removing the cover as you will undoubtedly get some of the debris (on top) into the pool water. There are skimmers to use to clean the pool and any floating bugs. I also enjoyed watching the people tee off from the back yard since we are right on the course. Kitchen: Looks like newer appliances and even has the small essentials like wine openers, wine glasses and even martini glasses! Definitely room to move around cook. Game room: Needs some attention as there was only one working pool stick (we didn't play) and the air hockey looked so-so however the foosball table was a hit. There were some small incidentals but when brought to the attention of Misti (our prop mgr), she immediately handled it. Thank you! As a renter it is important to email/ call the prop mgt company to let them know of things in need of repair/attention as the owners may not have been back in a while to address and corrections can't be made if no one is made aware of them. I brought up a few things to Misti which I'm certain she followed up on for the next guests. Great location - Walmart and Winn Dixie at Southern Dunes entry!

Very nice home. Plenty of room. My teenagers enjoyed the swimming pool and billiard table the most. Quiet neighborhood with a beautiful view from the patio.

No worth the money
The listing sounded wonderful until we arrived and came to find out there is no king size bed. When you read about the game room it sounds like a very fun area to hangout with friends and family but truly it is all old and falling apart. Most of the pool cues were broken and the table is set on ply wood to balance it out, but it doesn’t help when the pool table wobbles and is about to fall apart. The air hockey table is not operational unless you want to play with it turned off with the frame of the table folding into the middle of the table. The air hockey table air was barley blowing out any air and should be disposed of immediately. The only functional game table was the foosball table and that wasn’t even fully functional since the table is on a slope and slight bowed. Over all the game table was not a good experience and was better used as a clothes folding station.

Good location
Great location and the house is nice and the pool was nice. Neighborhood was great for riding bikes and running. I would have rated it 5 stars but the house was not very clean. When we arrived there was an awful smell and realized it was the garbage outside and it had maggots and a rat in it. The kitchen was pretty clean but the bathrooms were not. Mold on the shower curtains and urine around the toilets. The carpets need to be cleaned and were not well vacuumed. Game room is ok but the pool table and other games are not in the best shape. I did call about the trash and they came out and took care of it that day. Which we appreciated but felt should have been dealt with prior to our arrival.
