"Only stayed one night but it was clean and the room was huge with a full seating area. Our room smelled a bit like it allowed smoking in the past but wasn’t unbearable and the staff was wonderful. The ac and hot water were both on their a games and everything else exceeded expectations! "

"Not counting a condo resort my son & I stayed in the for the bulk of our recent vacation, we stayed in 3 different hotels on our way to and from our vacation destination. Out of the 3 hotels, Hampton Inn in Mcalester was the best. The room and floor we were on had recently been remodeled. Everything was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The indoor pool was also clean and pleasant to swim in. The staff were friendly, and the breakfast was decent. The only complaint we have is that the toilet kept shutting off and on with no obvious cause (i.e. stuck chain or handle). We were also awakened just after 2 a.m. by two adult male voices outside our room talking loudly, but that could occur in any hotel. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. This would be our top choice of hotels in Mcalester, OK if we ever pass through there again. "

"My wife and I stayed in June 2024 and had a wonderful time. Chuck and Klara are attentive hosts, and the cabin and grounds have tons of amenities that have been well thought out. It is clear that the hosts have attempted to anticipated every need and comfort their guests might want, and have sought to provide it for them. While it was great for a relaxing weekend with each other, we are excited about taking our kids in the future. The pool, playground, animals, trails, and so many other things make it the perfect place to get away with your family. Breakfasts far exceeded any expectation that we could have had. Everything was made from scratch and absolutely delicious. I highly recommend that anybody look for some peace and serenity go to Serenity Acres. It's beautiful, conveniently located close to good restaurants and grocery stores, as well as a quick drive to Robber's Cave and multiple outdoor activities. Again, the hosts are amazing. You will not want for anything during your stay. We had an amazing time."
