We had a wonderful time at the cabin! So cute and just the right size for the two of us and our mini Australia Shepherd. The deck is lovely for reading and yoga. The host was very thoughtful and responsive. Would definitely return!
This property was everything we were looking for our 10th anniversary. Jackie even went above and beyond with a little gift of snacks and a card! Jackie was responsive through texting as we needed and ensured her availability if an issue were to have arised. Thank you!
We rented this because we were travelling with two dogs that needed a quiet place to rest from our road trip from Maine while we saw a show at SPAC. It was a little jaunt away but perfect for privacy and quiet relaxation. The host was very easy to communicate with and let us in a little early too. I should have also asked how to get to the water before we left as that was not very apparent. We didnt have enough time to swim anyways so its a good reason to come back and check it out next time.
Very cool cabin, it has all the amenities but still feels cozy & rustic. Host was super. Beautiful area with picturesque mountain lakes, separated from the crowds of Lake George without feeling inconvenient.
Some folks (especially ones like us with a younger kid) may want to consider that although the cabin is essentially “on the water” there is no way to walk alongside it on this property. The only access is a long staircase out of the forest leading to a small dock.
In no way is this a criticism of the owners — they did an amazing job making the water accessible for canoes/kayaks/boats.
This is the perfect cozy cabin for 2. Very private, very quiet. We had rain, so didn't get to explore the surrounding areas much. But it's a quick walk over to see the Lake. Even though we had rain, it was nice to use the wood burning stove and play some board games. :)
