"Very cute ranch in a lovely neighborhood. Good location for access to area sites like Hammonasset Beach, Chamard Vineyard, and the Water's Edge. Not truly a "water's view", but the house had all the amenities needed for a fun stay! "

"Our second stay at the cottage. We spent a long weekend and the weather cooperated. The house is quite quirky, but has a really pleasant feel at home vibe. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen could use some updates, but was sufficient. (still need a new can opener) The porch overlooking the Sound is magical. Nice neighborhood. If you have one...bring a golf cart! Lots of golf carts about. Host is always pleasant, communicating through Vrbo. We hope to return again. Thank you Khalig Family...

"This was a great spot to stay with friends, with great separate living areas and a great central living room to gather. The location is minutes from downtown Guilford and was very convenient to do and see everything. I would not recommend bringing small children because there is so much beautiful artwork all around the house, but it’s a beautiful retreat for older kids/teens and adults! "

"This was such a central location for my East coast family to meet up. Perfect lodging for folks coming from lots of different areas and spatial needs. We had a lovely time going to the farm stand and made a beautiful meal from the produce we picked up. Thanks for an amazing stay! "

"My sister and I stayed here with our mom for a birthday weekend celebration. The backyard view is absolutely incredible - we stayed at the house far later each day than we wanted simply because the views and peaceful sounds of the waves were too hard to leave. Beds were all comfortable and bathrooms were updated with plush towels. The neighborhood is very quiet. "I love staying here. Each visit I bring something new from Louisiana and leave it for the next guest. The cooking supplies are admirable for a home, and especially so for a home away-from-home. We couldn't find a better place to stay. The beds are super comfy, though the furniture requires extra padding. Fortunately there are lots of blankets to use as cishioning."

"We all liove the various Connecticut shore towns, and Ild Lyme was delightful. We revisited some favorite spots, and discovered a few new ones. The vintage appliances were particularly nice to find, and looking at old photos, we realized that the original cottage was really 100 years old!"
