"Don't let the lack of photos of the front of the property put you off. True it's in a very narrow side street and the outlook is far from pretty, but it's in a very convenient location. Inside there's everything you need, and the property is well cared for. It's literally a couple of minutes' walk to the sea. Shops, pubs, restaurants all handy. "Hired the place for a family celebration. 13 of us from ages of 4, some twenty somethings, a thirty something, a number of fifty somethings …. A sixty something ( my birthday ) and two eighty plus. The accommodation was fab ….. everything you could need provided…. Fave place was the kitchen. So good for a space big enough for us all. Location fab 10 mins walk into the town and ample parking for 4 cars "

Great location close to the beach & food places we also found a little wooden park 5minutes round the corner that was brilliant for the kids to have a run round. "Cowslip cottage is the perfect size for two people and the views to the sea are lovely with goats and donkeys for entertainment. The cottage is cosy and comfortable with all the kitchen bits needed and a handy bottle of milk on arrival. Even more helpful is the EV charging port. Really good location for exploring Whitby, Robin Hood’s Bay and other local places. Very nice holiday overall!"

Close to all Northside attractions and a short bus journey to the busier Southside.
