"Lovely cottage. Very peaceful. The log burner was nice to use as it took a while for the cottage to warm up with the heaters and the day we arrived it was pretty cold. The cottage had everything you need for a stay. We all agreed that the beds and pillows were very comfortable and we all slept well. Nice location to visit Leyburn, Hawes and Aysgarth. "We stayed for two weeks at The Bothy. We used it as a base to explore the Dales. We enjoyed seeing the local sights and villages. There are numerous sites to visit within one hour’s drive. Also, there are nice walks from the front door to visit Aysgarth Falls, Cauldron Falls at West Burton, and a longer walk to Bolton Castle. "First off, we booked for 3 people and 10 days. We were given 1 trash bag, 2 1/2 rolls of toilet paper, two dishwasher pods, and one laundry pod. Not very well serviced. It must be noted that the courtyard the flat is in, is also a beer garden for a local pub. That means drunk people yelling and laughing until the wee hours of the morning with cigarette smoke making everything smell like an ashtrray. as well as a daily 7am wake up call from dumping all yhe glass bottles into the recycling. there...
