"What a wonderful stay we had! Room for our dog to run around, and explore, and to meet new friends. They have a small farm so it was fun to see the animals. The outside lighting was wonderful, and it was so peacful, and quiet. The neighborhood was really nice we took our dog for a walk for about an hour, and never encountered a vehicle. Plus farm fresh eggs in the fridge! Truly hope we will be back for another stay. "

"We traveled to the Lake House property to view the eclipse on April 8, 2024. The Ranch was on the path of totality. It was perfect for our family and friends. The surroundings are beautiful with lush green trees, grass, and wildflowers. The house is equipped with all the amenities that one would want. The beds were comfy. "We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin! We appreciated the thoughtfulness that the owner obviously put into the cabin. Waiters for the nearby river for fishing hung on a rack, hot chocolate, snacks, candy and popcorn were on the counter, you can tell they care. The location was so peaceful and quiet! The hot tub on the back porch was our favorite part - it was the perfect spot to watch the sun rise. I saw a few mention the loft being hot, and it seemed they had installed an ac upstairs to help...

"My adult kids and grandkids stayed here. Very central location and lots of “Easter eggs”. Had an absolutely great time. For out of towners, it’s a small town and quite a bit closes early. "

"The corner cottage was extremely clean with lots of delightful amenities. The pool table was a big hit especially for the older boys. The fish were biting at the pond unfortunately we didn’t catch them. But enjoyed the time trying. Overall well pleased with our stay. "

"This stay was our last hurrah before I start my battle with the big “C”. My mind was very muddy and I scheduled the stay for the next night accidentally among other issues… the front desk was having issues due to their internet being down and we didn’t realize my mistake until morning. The front desk manager was such a sweet person. I never told her my issues but I believe she knew I was struggling. She resolved my issues with such compassion and kindness. Didn’t get her name but am very grateful to her and her staff! "
