"Good food , friendly people "

"We loved the fact that we had access to the whole waterfalls hikes and hot springs. We loved the breakfast. Dinner was ok didn’t like the fact that you had to reserve. We ate at the bar a couple of times, but choices were limited. We didn’t want to venture to town at night. I loved the birds and nature all around us. We would have preferred more privacy between our cabins. We couldn’t really sit out in the front or the back without seeing our neighbors come and go. But those were minor details, we really enjoyed this beautiful heaven on earth."

"Hotel Guanacaste is pretty accurate in what it advertises, it is a good budget hotel with nice staff and owners. We were even treated specially for being returning customers and that is something to value. There is a bar outside and music can be loud in certain rooms, so pack some earplugs if you are a light sleeper, but other than that we were really happy with the experience."

"We’re a family of 5 and shared one of their rustic cabins. We love the lush foliage,flora & fauna. Unique rainforest experience, surrounded by fragrant flowers,beautiful gardens, sustainable environment. Great staff,friendly people."

The food was outstanding , the spa treatment was the best the zip line was safe and fun and the staff each and everyone of them was so friendly always smiling remembered who I was and we felt very special. To top it off dining with monkeys around us is the best way to dine :) Thank Rio l Perdido"

"Great value for this beautiful property. All the staffs are very friendly and helpful for hiking information. Only thing is that there is a blackout in late night for a few hours. Didn’t bother me much though. "

"We were lucky to find such a magical place to spend some time. The property is hard to leave as there are beautiful trees, flowers and birds to watch as you swim in or sit near the beautiful pool. Very easy access to many beaches each one being unique and providing a different experience. Several parks to explore rain forest in. As if all this isnt enough the best reason to choos this place are the people you will meet. Eladio and Vanessa are, quite simply, amazing and beautiful souls. I highly encourage you to go on tours with Eladio as he will take you to places and show you things that you will not find on your own. Will be returning! Pura Vida!!"
