"I have to say, I wasn’t expecting this hotel to be as good as it was. There were a few messages which seemed curt, and I went in, expecting an average stay. But to my shock, the staff was wonderful, the premises gorgeous and the location was perfect. We had a family bungalow near the pool, and we loved the space. The restaurant was surprisingly good, esp the Green Samui smoothie. At dinner, they bring the tables out onto the beach, so you can eat with the sand under your feet. All in all, it was a fantastic stay and we would definitely come back. "

"We stayed at the Explorar for the last leg of honeymoon trip and it was incredible. The staff go above and beyond and the hotel itself is stunning and the pool was amazing. There are a lot of complimentary activities throughout the week. You can visit lots of temples, elephants and waterfalls easily. The food has a nice variety but also nice restaurants nearby and in Fisherman's Village. Joey and his team at the bar made the best cocktails & drinks we had on our travels. They were so friendly and knowledgeable. We had the best time, thank you! "

"Good choice for people who don’t want to be in the thick of tourists, shopping, nightlife, recluse enough to walk to Fisherman’s Village. Very good breakfast. Not so keen on the other restaurant fare. Great swimming pools for family. "

"the propety is large and quite well maintained; there are enough dining choices and prices are fair for a resort of this standing; the pool is great place to spend the day with kids; the beach is not the place to really swim- too much current; overall - there is, visibly an effort to upgrade the service level with more professional stuff; the property stay highly recommended in my opinion;"
