"Naomi was very kind and considerate in trying to help us find a ground floor room seeing the lifts were not working She went out of her way above and behind We truly appreciated it We only had a little problem with too much light coming into the room from the street lamp outside and also one of the power points was not working near our bed We had a lovely time in the hotel"

"Smart looking hotel in former convent, in Spain/Portugal this would be a Parador/Pousada but it might need a bit of spruce to get up to 5 stars. Atmospheric place and a comfortable stay. Staff were helpful, location is bang in the centre next to the river, about 10 mins from the rail station."

"Situated about 1 km from the main pedestrian centre, this hotel is located in a quieter area. There is not really much of interest in the local area, so I would advise hiring a car or better still a bicycle if staying more than a couple of days. Maybe the hotel could facilitate bicycle hire?!"
