"The room was very spacious, comfortable, and clean. We had a view of the river from our window, which was nice. The back deck area on the river was a bonus, even if we didn't get to use it as we were away hiking most of our stay. It is a little far from town (you have to take a taxi or bus which are difficult to determine schedules for), but it is very near the Haweomsa Temple, the start of our hike. The lady at the front desk was very helpful."

"I booked and paid for this hostel, only to arrive and be told that my room had been given to someone else, and that I must have booked a male dormitory by mistake. Being a woman, I obviously didn't do so. After confirming that I did, in fact, book a non gendered dorm, and that I'd paid, the manager found somewhere else for me to stay for the night. After all the trouble it took to actually find the place, this was incredibly annoying. Even worse is the fact that I was not the only one this...
