"Beautiful stone home, built in 1780, lots of need for improvement. We were four adults, arrival was scheduled for 4:30 on Sunday. The host postponed our check-in until 7 pm. No rationale and no apology provided. This was problematic as we were not able to get dinner or groceries – restaurants opened in town at 7 pm. We were shocked to learn that the road to this house was a very steep, winding, unassumed - , basically dirt, grass, rocks for 10 minutes. A smaller vehicle would not be able to navigate this road. We struggled and we had a four-wheel drive, larger SUV. The owner kept saying it was “safe” but we did not feel safe on this road. Needless to say we only took the journey down the mountain to the nearby town twice. The owner informed us the oven was not working in an email, the day of check-in. No attempt was made to repair it or to replace it. They have a wood burning BBQ, the owner said he would return the next day and bring wood for the BBQ. He never did. Contradictions to the house description: no gym/work out area or fitness center, no oven, no spices in the kitchen area. There was no hair dryer and we were instructed not to use a dryer due to limitations/renewable energy. They was no bottle opener, there was one wine glass. What was great – renovations and upgrades are nice: bathrooms, flooring. The trails around the house were fantastic, the little stream was quite lovely. The house is very isolated if you are hoping for quiet and relaxation"

"Expected Hotel Ripoll to be nearer Ripoll 50 km,should of researched it but not connected in any way.Booked a bed which should of been able to use as 2 singles but wasn't so bit awkward otherwise 😀 "

"Het huis is heerlijk. Fijne ruime tuin. Met heerlijke ligbedjes, diverse tafels waar je aan kan zitten. Zowel in de zon als in de schaduw. Een fijne barbecue. Het zwembad wordt goed bijgehouden, maar is ongeveer 1.40 diep en alleen een klein strookje is 1.80 diep, maar je kan er prima baantjes trekken en in spelen. De badkamers zijn oud en er mag hier en daar wel wat vervangen worden. De eigenaren zijn heel vriendelijk. Houd er wel rekening mee dat als je gasten laat logeren dat het €45,- pppn kost. Wij dachten dat we alleen maar wat toeristenbelasting moesten betalen. "

"The hotel is located in a quiet but beautiful town - not full of international tourists, so you feel that you get a taste of the real Catalonia. Perfect location in summer, as the air is fresh at night. Also including here and the nearby town Caldes, plenty of wonderful tapas restaurants to try. I also loved the old style of the hotel and the rooms are also very comfortable and large. Loved breakfast - they had a range of interesting meats and delicious pastries and bread. The thermal pools were relaxing and a lovely treat. A great stay overall."

"Great stay. Clean and spacious room, friendly staff, solid breakfast. We found parking by the bridge about 200m or so away from the hotel for free. Glad we stayed there. "

"The hotel is gorgeous, and the pool and spa are incredible. It was so cozy and relaxing that it ended up reducing how much exploring out side of the hotel we did during our stay. The restaurant in the hotel is also phenomenal and very affordable for the high quality "
