Cabin in the Cove - Boathouse - Dog Friendly

Open concept with hardwood floors throughout. Convenient to local restaurants and shops. Guntersville State Park is approximately 5 miles away. Boat ramp is about 1 mile away. Relax in the open kitchen/living area or the screened in porch. If sun is what you are looking for then there is a sun deck down at the boathouse. The Cabin also has several open decks to enjoy the outdoors. The Cabin can sleep up to 7 people. There's a queen size bed in the master bedroom and four twin beds in the other 2 bedrooms.

Use of the Boathouse is included with The Cabin. You will have access to 1 large boat slip with an electric lift for your use. There are tie ups available on the outside of the boat house. There is power and water at the boat house.

Owner is not responsible for personal injury or property damage but you are welcome to utilize the boat house and decks. Swim at your own risk.

The boat and watercraft toys (skis, tubes, kneeboards, etc..) are NOT available for use.

You must contact us directly and receive confirmation prior to using the kayaks or fishing tackle. The rental rate is $20 for each kayak for the duration of your stay and can be invoiced thru VRBO or paid via Paypal.

However, the Lily Pad, life jackets, and floats are for your enjoyment. Water level at the boathouse is around 4-5 feet. No diving.

Stephanie was the perfect host, great communication when needed! The property is exactly as listed and fully stocked for all your needs. The location is perfect and close to everything. My husband and I brought our two dogs and we were so happy we did, it was the perfect getaway! We can’t wait to stay here again!

Getaway at the cove
My family felt right at home, even though the weather was rainy, it was relaxing and cozy! They had everything we would ever need and much needed family time with the grandmother and grandchildren and great grandchildren. We created very special memories at the cove! The house, boat house and property were excellent. We liked where it was positioned at the end of the cove. It was very convenient to have the boat in the water and ready to go in the mornings and evenings! The house was clean and as advertised! We will definitely book here again!

House and boathouse are great! Driveway is steep. I recommend following the owners directions for accessing the driveway. Also, putting your boat in the water before going to the house works best.
