Dog friendly beach house house located 600 feet from the beach at Fort Morgan! Fort Morgan is a rural area located West of Gulf Shores, Alabama on a one mile wide peninsula in the Gulf of Mexico, with the beach to South and the Mobile Bay to the North. This house is far from the crowded streets and offers a natural beach scenic views for miles!

The bedding arrangement is King Master, which adjoins the master bath and the front porch, King and Queen Guest rooms which are located right beside a full bath. The sofa converts to a bed for 2. The beds are made with crisp white linen and bath linen and sofa linen is supplied. Please bring beach towels. The full size washer and dryer are located in the master bath which adjoins the kitchen for your convenience. The kitchen is stocked with cookware, dishes, utensils and everything needed to prepare most meals.

The huge back deck and shady area under the house makes this a great place to hang out, grill and relax. The beach, which is located 600 feet from house is pet friendly! Must be leashed.

Our stay at the Salty Lime was so enjoyably! The location was great and the beaches were stunning. Very short walk to the beach, no worries you can leave your chairs and beach things out there and not drag them back and forth every day. The only thing that could use some improvement is the air in the master bedroom/ bathroom. Other than that and the pesky mosquitos everything was perfect. Definitely recommend!

Old school raised cottage brought up to modern expectations
I wanted to rent something like one of the raised cottages the family owned when I was a kid. Salty Lime fills the bill. It's an old school type raised cottage that meets today's expectations and has been well kept. It fit the description presented. Clean, well outfitted, well maintained. I was pleased that the stacked washer/dryer were full sized. It was perfect for a small gathering of family & friends. We had 3 overnighting and 9-10 in/out during the day. It never felt crowded. I would rent again.

Liked the inside layout of the house. It was set up nice and decorated cute. We liked the back patio new furniture, but the front patio furniture was older and would have liked newer and more comfortable furniture to hang out on. It’s just a personal preference since we enjoy sitting on the deck. It was a very close walk to the beach, which was nice!! The beach cart was good and was a welcome addition with the wide wheels. Overall we would recommend the Salty Lime beach house.

Great Stay at Salty Lime
Our family of four and a dog stayed at Salty Lime for a week in early May. The house was clean, well-stocked and adorable! We especially loved having both a front and a back porch, one that was covered for shade, and one that was in the sun. The beds here were some of the most comfortable of any other place that I’ve stayed. It is a very short walk to the beach, and is on a peaceful and quiet street. Pam Martin was great about staying in contact with us throughout the entire process. I highly recommend Salty Lime for a beach getaway. We will book again!

This was a perfectly sized place for the 5 adults and 3 dogs. It was a very short walk to the beach. We had a most exceptional time here. There is a small market “The Sassy Bass” just 5 minutes from us and they had everything we needed. We enjoyed getting to know some of the neighbors and their dogs. It is just a 5 minute drive the other way to the Ferry to Mobile. I would recommend this stay for small families who have pets.

Wonderful time at the Salty Lime!
We really enjoyed our stay at the Salty Lime. We had 6 adults, a 3 year old, and a 1 year old and there was plenty of room. The location was wonderful, with the beach a short walk away and the house itself was cute and easy to find with the lime green color. There was a tacky jacks 2 minutes away and other things weren't too far. It was also super quiet from noise outside and the bedrooms were quiet too. The deck was awesome. The outside showers under the stairs were a lifesaver to get all the sand off. I really appreciated that the host had made a plug in spot on both sides of every bed. Drawers and shelves were also a bonus to help us organize our belongings. The beds were extremely comfortable. It was a wonderful stay and we would love to come back sometime!

Great beach house
The salty lime fulfilled my dream of staying in a beach house. It was just a short walk to the beach, we were only six houses from the sand. The house was super clean when we got there, and there were no pet smells to mess with our dog that we brought with us. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking tools. Loved it and would stay again.

Everything was exceptional. The place was just like it was advertised. Short walk to the beach. It would be nicer underneath house with concrete or solid surface and bbq pits were pretty wore out. Would definitely stay again.

Ft Morgan getaway
The Salty Lime was just what we expected and needed after a busy graduation. Everything was clean, the beds were cozy, and it was an easy walk to a gorgeous beach. The kitchen was easy for us to cook in, and we loved the big table for a jigsaw puzzle. Will look forward to going back as soon as we can!

Salty lime is a must for a family vacay! Its clean, well kept, modern, in a safe and quiet neighborhood. Its also great that it is dog friendly. The beach within walking distance is soft, sandy, bare feet kind, that also is dog friendly! This property is as exactly as the pictures--beautiful! Appliances and amenities were useful and well stocked. The lights under the home was nice and safe feeling coming back after sunset. This home smells fresh too, you'd never guess dogs were here. Perfect home for a perfect getaway! A

Exactly as described.
The house is exactly as described. The kitchen was well furnished for cooking. There were plenty of towels to go two days without laundering. The throw rugs were a nice touch to keep the sand out of the main part of the house. There were plenty of lawn chairs and even a wagon for the beach. You could see (and hear) the ocean from the house. Parking can get a little muddy if it rains.

Relaxing time by the beach
Stayed at Salty Lime mid-September for a week. The place was as described, and clean. Larger deck of the rear of the home and a smaller covered one off the living room (great for morning coffee). Close to the beach which is one of the primary reasons for choosing this place. Made it easy to take our items and pups. WiFi worked well. It’s a drive from town but that’s one of the reasons we chose it. There’s a newer Dollar General close if you forgot something. We would definitely look at staying here again.

Pet Friendly Beach House!
We have a bigger dog and no one would accommodate. This property was very open to dogs. The private beach and the beachgoers were even more open. The large patio in the back is amazing to the entire family to hang enjoy the breeze and watch the stars at night. We enjoyed the large patio and all the new amenities the most. Every room had a new tv with streaming services built as well as HDMI access to Xbox. The internet provided was very strong and was perfect for when I had to get some work done. We loved this house and will definitely add it to the list for next year!
