Safe and convenient location. The house was beautiful and the environment was relaxing! The kitchen was stocked well with all the essentials to prepare great meals. (All the supplies for cooking and baking that you would have in your own home!) Short and easy drive to the beach, also a reasonable walk. (My husband and younger daughter drove to the beach but my oldest daughter and I walked to and from the beach multiple times a day!) The pool area was VERY close to the house and beautiful and relaxing. The home had boogie boards and beach chairs available to use at the beach. Communication with the host was top notch. We had a personal situation arise during the trip (not related to the house or property) and the owner was beyond helpful and kind during that event. We will definitely stay again. My family had a fantastic time!

We had a great time during our stay. The pool is great for kids. The bugs were pretty terrible during our stay though so I’d definitely recommend bringing bug spray.

Family Beach Vacation
We had a great experience renting this property. We loved the house and the owner went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay! I would highly recommend this cozy little house to anyone wanting a relaxing stay. The pool was wonderful also!

Perfect Bungalow
We had the most amazing time at the blue bungalow. This was probably our favorite vacation. The location was so serene and quiet. We rented a golf cart and had a nice drive to the public beach access. If you like family friendly, this is the place for you!

We had a great time there. Room for the whole family. Clean and safe neighborhood. Small walk to the pool and beach was less than a half mile away. Beach was not super busy like others. We would Stay here again.

Secluded community close to Gulf Shores
My family of 5 stayed here andnhad a wonderful time. The location was perfect for us. It was close to the beach and town but yet quite and not as busy as the more commercialized areas. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. Scott was very responsive to any questions that we had. We would definitely stay here again.

Great stay!
Was looking for a place off the beaten path for a short stay within our price range. The Blue Bungalow was so perfect. 3 bedrooms and two baths, well equipped kitchen, and wonderful screened porch. Kids loved "their room". The area was quiet and family oriented and within minutes of the beach. Will definitely be on our short list for our next trip. Scott was very attentive!

Memorable Family Vacation
The Blue Bungalow provided such a memorable vacation spot for our family! Comfortable house, close to the beach and awesome pool. Few kinks with check-in, but owner quickly got back to us with easy fixes. I would say that the key code did not activate until exactly at 3:00 PM, so do not arrive early! Overall, 5 stars and would happily stay there again!

A wonderful experience!
Close to the beach, a cozy little place with plenty of room inside. It is a lot roomier inside than you would think by the photos. Of course the kids love the pool. This place is absolutely amazing, and any issues we came upon were handled swiftly by the owner. I cannot praise him enough, he and his wife run a solid operation. I would do business with them again anytime!

Warm and Relaxing
The stay was awesome. Just what I expected. The only hiccup we had was that we arrived very late at night and it was difficult to find the house. We kept driving by it for about an hour before we finally spotted it. The number could have been up higher on the house or the bushes covering it could be trimmed. However had we arrived as scheduled, we would not have that problem. So, overall the stay was great.

We had a wonderful time at this clean well placed property. If your like us and like a little seclusion and convenience you will love this place. Its just the perfect distance from everything. I do also recommend the walking trails near by. The property is well furnished with anything that you need. The host is friendly and very responsive to any questions and requests. Top notch service.

Great place for a family.
The property was very clean and very easy to get to. The host was helpful. We only had to contact him once because we couldn't get the wifi to work and he had us fixed in less than 5 minutes. Beds were comfortable. Fans were provided in bedrooms. There was 8 of us (4 adults and 4 children..ages 9 to 16) and we were all comfortable and had plenty of room.

Cute blue bungalow! Five stars!
Loved the location of the blue bungalow! The bungalow was quiet and clean. It is right near the big pool and tennis courts. We drove to beach everyday (3 minute drive) & had no problem with parking. Pool and tennis courts were also clean. We had an issue with check-in but Scott was super quick to fix it. WiFi worked great. Never had any trouble parking in front of bungalow. The neighborhood felt safe. We would stay again!

I cannot say enough good things about the owners. Communication was the best. They were always less than five minutes away if I needed anything!!! The house was super cute and was exactly as described. It was very clean and in a great neighborhood. I always felt safe and that was key because I was traveling with just my older children and my husband was not with me. It rained some while we were there and we were completely fine with just hanging out at the house. We explored the public beach that is within four minutes of the house. I used the kitchen for breakfast and lunch each day. It was well stocked with the kitchen tools I needed. All in all it was an excellent stay and I would highly recommend the Blue Bungalow to anyone!!

Perfect space for family of 5 for spur of the moment long weekend trip. All the amenities you could need. Clean and comfortable. Great communication with owner. If you can rent a golf cart while in town, do so. We booked too late and couldn’t find one available anywhere. But will definitely book one earlier next time. Hope to be back soon! Wonderful stay!
What determines a 5 star is not if nothing goes wrong but that when it does- how is it handled? We were given a code to the door that did not work AND the wrong internet password. These two things combined caused us to go on a search for internet service to then be able to contact Scott to get the correct info. Not exactly something you want to do with a family of 6 (four boys) late at night after a 12 hour drive. Thankfully- Scott was on it! He was able to quickly come to our aid and get us in the bungalow. The rest of our stay was great! Had everything we needed to cook simple meals and tend to our daily needs. Definitely would recommend! -Thanks Layson family!

Peaceful Family Vacation
The Blue Bungalow was perfect for our family vacation! On our trip was my husband and I, our 3 girls (2, 8, 14), along with one set of grandparents (7 people total). Close enough to the busier areas to go out and about but far enough away to completly disconnect and unwind. Perfect amount of space with amenities such as cooking utensils, pack n play, highchair, and washer/dryer in the home. It was awesome not to have to worry about those things! We especially appreciated the small toiletries provided such as shampoo, soap, and a little sealed baggy with makeup wipe, nail file, and hair ties in each bathroom. The community was so calm, kind, and welcoming. The host Scott was readily available by message for any needs or concerns and would occasionally check in and offer suggestions for things to do etc. in the area. The pool was amazing and the beach was so close! We would definitely return!

Excellent stress-free family rental. Very thoughtful owners! Loved the Blue Bungalow!!!
Our trip to Gulf Shores was amazing! Scott, the property owner, made things so easy and pain free. We ended up arriving late at night and went to bed shortly after arriving and could not make a store run for things we needed. When we woke up there was COFFEE already there!!! This was such a blessing and we were so grateful to be able to relax and drink coffee on the front porch listening to the peaceful sounds of nature! My kids did not want to leave the pool and the beach was really close. Scott had a binder at the place that was basically a guide book for our trip. Checking in and out was a contact-free and stress-free process. Scott and his family are so thoughtful. If you have a small child, they have baby monitor, baby gate, and booster seat! We were very satisfied with our experience at the Blue Bungalow and look forward to next time we come to Gulf Shores!! Thank you to Scott and his family!!
