"A beautiful old castle that has been completely refurbished/modernized on the inside, sitting on a beautiful property with nearby forests, vineyards, and olive groves. After the hustle and bustle of Rome and Florence, the serenity here was perfection. We stayed in the 'deluxe double room' which was absolutely fantastic. We arranged a vespa rental and rode through the countryside to the nearby Castellina in Chianti and cute hilltop town and took a wonderful cooking class at Taverna...

"This was an absolute highlight of our trip. The castle is beautiful and incredibly well kept. The proprietor visited our table one morning, at the beautiful breakfast they offered, and gave us some fantastic history of the property and the upgrades she has made to the castle and the grounds. Nothing short of excellent!"

However, when we discovered you could drive along to the next road entrance on the left and follow this around further to the left.. it leads to the stunning property. It could be better signposted. Apart from that and perhaps the fact the kitchen could be slightly better equipped, we wouldn't hesitate to...

"Wonderful location!!! Everything within walking distance. Friendly staff, clean modern room. Shower needs repairing. Will definitely return to stay here. If you are driving to the hotel, It’s a ZTL zone so contact the hotel to make arrangements for your car to be garaged. Don’t need a car here. It is in the best location!!!"

"This property is gorgeous and the stay here was amazing! Our room had the private terrace and we had breakfast out there the next morning! I can’t tell you how picturesque, stunning and just plain peaceful our breakfast was out in the terrace! "Great location, walkable from the train station. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. First night we got a room by the elevator, and it was very loud. Asked the desk to be moved and they happily moved my wife and I to a very quiet room. I would recommend this hotel. Great location, very clean, and excellent staff. "

"Hotel was great for a quick stop through our EU trip. We had three rooms and the staff was great! We enjoyed food and drinks for the bar and everything was delicious! They even have a 24hr sauna which is nice after traveling all day! Beautiful area, wish we had more time here! The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast we had the whole trip and included in stay! "
