Quite remote location on Manhanock Pond, in Parkman Maine. Our Bunk house and our Main house share 18 acres of land and 1/4 mile of waterfront. Manhanock and Harlow Ponds are managed as one body of water. Fish pass freely under a bridge on the causeway that separates the ponds. The ponds provide a popular fishery for boat anglers and for shore anglers from the causeway. The ponds are open to ice fishing. The town of Parkman is in the center of Maine, with 843 residents. We have one local store, but don’t worry the surrounding towns have plenty to offer.
Located just 40 minutes from Greenville and 2.5 hours from Acadia National Park, our property provides easy access to both local amenities and popular attractions. After a day of exploring the bustling beauty of Acadia, guests can return to the peaceful quiet of the Maine woods at Dragonwood.
Parkman is small town with great scenery. You can travel roads both paved and dirt roads in most any vehicle.
