"Great little spot for a quiet night away, as it’s the start of the season there was evidently still work going on around the hotel, however still very quiet. The staff couldn’t have been anymore helpful if they tried, very laid back and friendly. Great value for money. The heated swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna are great. Local shop across the road sells most things. We did have to order a takeaway in the evening, however staff provided plates ect to eat it. As far as I gather they are working on having lunch and evening meals in the near future. They do have a bakery stand that has pies & cakes ect in the bar area which I seen freshly delivered in the morning. The breakfast was made to order & they had a menu with a variety of hot foods eg. Bacon, tattie scone, haggis, veggie breakfasts, kids breakfast, cereals & eggs cooks how you like. We where pleasantly surprised instead of the usual continental as stated on booking. Quality ingredients. Would definitely visit again. "

"2 night stay in the hotel was excellent! Great hairdryer, mini fridge with complimentary water and shortbread, soft robes and slippers, ironing board, fan and extra heater. Leisure centre was lovely and only a short walk from the hotel, with a lovely pond and outdoor seating too. The whisky bar/gatehouse bar had a great selection of drinks and food was excellent (you can also order this to your room which came super fast) Anna at reception was extremely friendly and helpful Great location for nearby towns/cities and lots of walking spots "
