"Quiet child free hotel. Very modern with spa, pool, gym and roof top bar, restaurant, lounge. Lost a necklace somewhere in the hotel which was found by a cleaner and returned. Overall excellent."

"Managed to do early check around 10am with no extra charge, Lovely reception staff, very helpful Good breakfast buffet variety to choose from, again the restaurant staff were brilliant. The hotel is clean all round smells nice, Room was replenished daily. Very spacious and loads of space to sit and relax Location by the marina, so many restaurants to choose from. Boat cruises. "We. booked their sister hotel but when we got there, the hotel was closed. We finally got into the hotel that was closed and the operational staff said that that they moved us to another hotel. Although, they never sent us a text or email on this move. When we finally found the new hotel, they gave us a room that faced a busy road. We asked to change the room, however we had to pay an additional cost. Not my favourite hotel. "

"Verdelago is a great 5-star resort in the Algarve, away from tourists and tourist traps. It is a vast resort with many things to do. However, potential guests should be aware it is not fully-open. The resort is under construction even though you would not really notice it. They have done a fabulous and mindful job in protected guests from this. The only problem was that we booked the hotel because it had a spa but the hotel did not inform us beforehand that it was closed during the two days that we were there. That was very disappointing.
