"The hotel and rooms are esthetically very nice. The pool area is small and looks at the back of other buildings. Our room wasn’t made up, we needed to ask them to do this. Every time we went to the desk (usually 2-3 staff) they were always all focused on one task and talking amongst themselves without acknowledging the clients. They were kind and helpful once they decided to help you. Also, the area is very nice and safe but inconvenient to tourist areas "

"We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We liked the coffee maker in the room and a very vibrant rooftop bar. Very friendly staff who all spoke excellent English. Our room was rather dark and for the size of the bedroom suite we felt that the bathroom was too small. We would stay here again"

"Nice modern hotel. Area is quiet and away from the crowds in the old city. It’s also cleaner and nicer. The hotel is also steps away from the beach. Room is functional and well decorated and designed. Clean and housekeeping is done everyday at a reasonable time (unlike some other hotels that often has it done late afternoon). Staff is also competent and warm."

"Customer service was outstanding. They checked us in early, provided room cleaning/fresh supplies as we wanted, and even let us keep our luggage there directly after check-out until it was time to head to the airport. "

"Wouldn't expect what I encountered based just on the outside. Friendly staff, excellent service, clean facilities. Rooms could be a little more updated, but the bathroom was updated, clean, and there was specific attention to details. "

The beach at the home is also nice for sunbathing, but it's very rocky and not suitable for swimming. "Very dissatisfied. Room smell like sewage. There were no bug screen on windows for us to allow windows to remain open to ventilate space. Electrical outlets did not work in the bathroom, kitchen fan was not working. And at checkout the lady accused us of tearing the fabric window curtains. We tried to explain they were like that when walked in. And she said she doubted that. And was rude about it. Mattress were so thin you could feel the wooden boards "

"The room was tiny but fine. Rustic. The bathroom had been renovated and was nice. The carpet in the halls is less than fine. Might have been red at some point but is now black from age. Location was great for walking to the water and food and shopping. Staff was there but not as warm as most hospitality staff I found. Maybe because we didn’t speak much English. lol. That’s on me. If you have a tight budget it is clean and location is great. Air conditioning worked. Wifi worked. Breakfast was good. Kitchen staff were very sweet. "

Great Family vacation in Las Flores

"The home is very comfortable and a great location between Montevideo and Punta del Este. The closest town is Piriapolis, about 7 minutes' drive and the beaches there are very nice. The beach at the home is also nice for sunbathing, but it's very rocky and not suitable for swimming. There are restaurants up and down the coast and one winery close by, Cerro Del Torro, that offers lunch and tasting. The other wineries are about 90 minutes' drive, and we explored a few of them during our stay. Our host Bruno was very friendly and responsive as well. I would highly recommend his home."
