"The accommodation was in a beautiful tranquil setting. We really felt that we had a relaxing break in Celerico de Basto. Lovely pool and even a little lake to row a boat on much to the delight of the children. The kitchen was a slightly strange set up but we soon got used to cooking on the BBQ . Only down side was the kitchen sink. No hot water and sink was very small in the kitchen area. We had to boil water on hob for washing up. To be honest we got used to it and we managed fine . "Dino and Ines were the perfect hosts, they could not have done more for us. On our first night they even took us out to a restaurant for a super meal before showing us around Povao de Vazim. They pointed out the local supermarkets, metro station, parking and took us on a tour of the town. The house had everything that we could have wanted together with bread, cheese, a nice bottle of wine and even a home baked cake. "We stayed with two couples for 14 days at this lovely house. Olga and Paulo were fabulous hosts and gave us countless of wonderful tips on what to do and where to eat. Communication was flawless. Check in was easy and Paulo greeted us with a bottle of wine and fresh pastry specific to the region. The house was extremely clean and had everything we needed. AC in the two master bedrooms, the LR, and the DR was appreciated. As a pleasant surprise we had a house cleaning and fresh bed sheets...

"Lovely house, beautifully done up and rustic. Pool was lovely and exactly what we were after. Everything was so clean! Kitchen was superbly stocked including a welcome package of fridge necessities and fruit. The host also provided daily fresh bread which saved us a trip to the local supermarket (5 min drive)."
