"The best place to stay in San Gil : really friendly and helpful staff, nice bar area with really good cocktails, games and a ping pong. They kept our stuff for us after we checked out so we could do all the things we had planned. I would stay there again if i ever come back!"

"We arrived at 2am and the host still greeted us with a smile and got us checked in and to our room quickly. The property is on a quiet street but literally around the corner from the main square, shops and restaurants and is modern, well maintained and the cleanest we have had in Colombia. "This was a good comfortable stay. The place was very clean, including the bedroom and bathroom. The only drawback, if I had known they didn’t have hot water to shower I would’ve stayed somewhere else. But it was in a good neighborhood and quiet at night. Overall good stay. "

"El hotel contratado fue malo, primero el baño estaba fuera de la habitación el cual era compartido, contraté con parqueadero para el carro y no había me dijeron q lo dejara afuera y les dejara las llaves por si tocaba moverlo, cuando me fui a bañar me negaron el agua caliente porque era en el horario de 7pm a 10pm. "We appreciated the affordable stay in cabins overlooking the canyon. An easy 90 minute hike along the rim got us to the park with more views. As well, a 5 min walk a paragliding location. For those without vehicles, we could access public transportation to Aratoca then hire a taxi. Enrique arranged a ride back to the highway where we waved down a bus. Take note that the double cabin does not include cooking facilities, only a fridge and minibar. They are still ironing out the details with this...

"We had a great stay in this hotel. The layout is great. The rooms are filled with a feeling of history. The pool is lovely. Breakfast was substantial and tasty. The staff were friendly and helpful. A very short walk and you are in the central square of one of the most beautiful towns in Latin America. What more could you want. "Fantastic hotel! Our first night there was one other family in the hotel. The second night we were the only ones! The photos online are very accurate. Staff were very friendly and had lots of recommendations for restaurants for us. The hotel is a one minute walk to the town center. The only slight negative, which the hotel cannot control, were the church bells ringing from the nearby church, EVERY HOUR. Other than that, highly recommend. "

Excellent stay

"This was a great stay. The staff was very helpful and great. The place and the room was super clean. The bed was so comfortable, I didn't want to get up in the morning. Nice comfortable pillows (not the usual flat worn pillows). Super clean bathroom with hot water. I can't say enough about this hotel and how great it was. I plan to return to Barichara and I'll book in this same hotel. Good breakfast as well. Safe, and a short walk to the supermarket D1 and only about 7-10 minute walk to the main square. Overall excellent stay."
