Beautiful setting...
The views and location are absolutely amazing. The house itself was fine. I wouldn't expect it to be spotless because oceanfront properties usually come with some dust, bugs, and weathering. I was disappointed though to arrive and immediately find a dirty bowl with food remnants sitting on one of the lounge chairs on the deck. I got the impression right away that there wasn't much of an effort made or attention to detail. There were also weeds growing through the deck, and the outdoor spaces were pretty neglected in general. We had a few issues in the kitchen as well- no olive oil, and we were unable to use the toaster as it shorted out each outlet I tried. Positives - again just the views and location. Felt fairly private but was very close to town. The bed was comfortable. We enjoyed playing foosball in the converted garage where we also appreciated having access to a washer/dryer. Overall, it seems like people will pay the steep price because of the insane location and views, but the property felt neglected. Loved the ocean front location, would have appreciated more effort from the host.

Amazing views
The cottage is as cute as described in the listing. The beds were comfortable and linens were lovely. The hot tub on the deck with an amazing view of the ocean. I enjoyed a hot bath in the soaking tub even though the power was out due to the storm. Although I didn't have electricity, the stove, fireplace, and hot water heater were all on gas. So, I was fine! The best part about being in the first bedroom was the view of the ocean. I stayed during some bad weather and was able to watch the storms roll in, watch the powerful waves, and listen to the roar of the surf all from the comfort of my bed! This is a wonderful cottage and property. I plan to return!

Comfy cottage in perfect location
We stayed here with our pup and it was the perfect cottage located on a bluff overlooking the water. The cottage is on a quiet road of Hwy 1 so there is no road noise whatsoever. Sunsets spectacular! All the immenities were as described and everything in working order with no issues. The house is also well equipped with google devices so we could stream/cast music easily. Internet also pretty speedy which was a nice surprise. Our pup enjoyed the fenced in yard and we enjoyed the backyard immenities and sunsets every night we were there. The copper soaking tub in the bathroom is a nice touch. We'd come back in a pinch!

Great location with beautiful views
We absolutely loved this rental! The house is on a very quiet street and the location is great and close to everything. The yard is huge and completely fenced in which was great for our dog. The house is on a bluff and the ocean views on the right and left are spectacular with scenic cliffs. Straight out the back you can watch the sunset and it was fun to watch the Pelicans fly right over head. There’s a picnic table, nice deck, BBQ, spa and fire pit. The inside of the house is great too. The beds were comfortable and the family room was nice with plenty of seating and great ocean views. We’ll definitely be back!

A few annoyances: *A real estate agent showed up to show the house during our stay. I later found the property is for sale. *There is no latch or damper on the front screen door. There is also no screen for the back door. This makes for rather poor ventilation considering none of the windows open. *There was no way to light the fire pit. It requires a long propane lighter which was no available. **I gave five stars for communication with the property manager although we had none.

Pros: 1) Large yard, fully fenced, on the cliffs w/ amazing panoramic ocean views. 2) New appliances (oven, washer / dryer, dishwasher) 3) Cozy indoor / outdoor fireplaces 4) Generous supplies in terms of bath products, detergent, etc 5) Great location close to town Cons: 1) Very old home, only partially upgraded. Kitchen cabinets, laundry / game room, and windows are very old. 2) Musky, old, mildew-y smell persists throughout the home, despite airing out / candles. Not as noticeable in main living room or bedrooms. 3) Home needs a deep clean. Fingerprint stains on bathroom and kitchen doors, etc. We expected an old home, and overall the property is very well stocked and maintained. However, for the cost, I would expect more. Overall, the property is comfortable with great views, but in my opinion overpriced. Have stayed at nearby homes (on Robinson Reef) with smaller yards, but same ocean views for much less $. Would recommend this property if a large fenced yard and amazing views is more important to you than interior luxury.

The view of the ocean from this property was absolutely gorgeous! The deck and BBQs were fantastic! We really enjoyed the house too! Although it is small, it was well-layed out and didn’t feel cramped. The large fenced yard was great for our dog. The furnishings were very nice, beds were comfortable and kitchen was well- stocked with nice appliances, etc. We would absolutely stay again!

Stunning Location with Luxurious Details
This is the most beautiful view home I've ever stayed in. It's charming in that it's a small, older country style cottage but it's been updated with high end beautiful furniture, fixtures, linens, etc. The kitchen was fully stocked for home cooked meals every night (bring your own food). The beds were incredibly comfortable and we loved the linens so much we're looking to purchase our own! The walk in shower was lovely and the tub was fun and interesting. It took a long time to fill but it was nice to soak in. I would suggest leaving a handbook for the home in general as the fireplace didn't have a switch or remote as we anticipated, we had unexpected maintenance visitors, and the wifi password we were initially given was incorrect. I had no service so had to drive into town to contact the owners. Thankfully they were very responsive. This place is incredible and I would absolutely stay here again. Thank you!

A Cozy Oceanfront Cottage
We spent 3 days in this property. The view is awesome, sit in the backyard patio, have a cup of wine and listen to the natural sound from ocean. Deers sometimes visit the property and stay in the yard. The property is clean and most of the furnitures are new. We enjoy the staying and will visit here again.

Excellent views, a little expensive for the size of the house
This oceanfront property has views exactly described in the listing: breathtaking. The check in is easy, the unit house itself is pretty nice, though we thought it looked a little smaller than from the photos. We enjoyed the stay in the place, and also liked the large outdoor space to walk around. The unit could have been a little cleaner, but the overall experience was very good.
