Nice but not worth the price
First off let me say the cabin was impeccably clean inside. They left a snack tray in the fridge. The house was simple and small.
Communication from the host was almost non existent. I didn't get any check in instructions or communication at all until the day of our trip.
While clean and tidy the house was not 5 star in any way. It has the feel of my grandparents cabin, there was a broken trim ring on the microwave, the fridge was so old it was rusting and broken inside the freezer. The dining table is covered in old stains. There was a guitar hanging in the wall but the hanger was falling out of the sheet rock. The couch looked like a large cat had its way with the cushions and they were sloppily repaired. Lastly the hot tub gave me some sort of rash. I've never in my life had any kind of reaction to chlorine or any other spa or pool additive but as I write this my legs, torso and right arm are completely covered in some sort or rash or allergic reaction.
The house is in no way private. It is situated within sight of at least 4 other houses. The walk down the hill would be very steep indeed should you decide to take it on, we did not. We definitely don't feel that this home was worth the price tag of almost $1000 for two nights. Check in is at least one hour later than any hotel and check out is 2 hours sooner than any hotel. There is very little in the area as far as restaurants or other attractions. I'd give this one a wide berth at this price.
