Lovely location
A lovely location with beautiful views. Comfortable master bedroom and bathroom. Nice kitchen. Property needs deep cleaning, pest control, and various repairs.

Floor plan and location great. Property needs a serious deep, deep cleaning, many repairs are needed in interior and exterior. Many things not sanitized and downright gross. Property description and photos are not current or accurate. Property hard to find due to hidden address signs.

Magestic
Although there were many maintenance issues, we looked at the magnificent views from all the windows, architectural construction, comfortable beds and furniture, ability to use tv and our streaming devices, well stocked kitchen and had a fabulous time.

Lovely getaway space
We very much enjoyed staying at this house. We loved the views of the ocean and the nearby access to Cooks beach. The house is thoughtfully laid out and has a good vibe. There were a few items that needed repair or replacing, but otherwise it worked great for our family.

Spring Break stay
We’ve stayed here three years in a row, love the location and all the space for our extended family group. There are some maintenance issues that need attention, such as the sliding door to the patio not locking and the screen being broken, the cabinet in the kitchen being broken and swinging off the hinge, two of the fireplaces not working, etc…but, overall, we do like it here and the location can’t be beat. Just a little TLC is all it needs!

Gorgeous, little misses on maintenance
This house is more gorgeous than its pictures show -- huge and amazing views of the ocean and sun from morning til night. Exceeded expectations on that front! On the other hand, there were were problems with doors that didn't open to the outer decks and cobwebs that were sort of baffling. Not 100% up to par on some minor maintenance stuff that added some small dissonance to the overall splendor of the place.

A perfect getaway
Place is great. There are some small things that should be addressed, like dish towels, working fireplaces, extra guest towels, dishwasher pods, a sponge for the sink, salad tongs, things like that. But the waves crash on the beach and fill the house with sand, the stars were as bright as I have ever seen, and the location can't be beat. We loved it and will be back.

Spectacular, mesmerizing view.
Very private, large, comfortable house with great separate facilities for 3-4 couples. Spacious kitchen with some gaps and uneven quality in utensils, pots/pans etc. Lots of deferred maintenance; be ready to wash your own dishes as the dishwasher is down to its last drawer, and it’s leaking.

Picturesque Well Appointed Retreat
Situated with breathtaking coastal views, the Beach House is a terrific deal for a weekend or weekday retreat. The hot tub, Cal King Master Bed, beautiful kitchen, and glass ensconced coastal sided views are magnificent home features. Beautiful wave sonance resounds whether the sun shines or the rain patters. Enjoy your time here by closing the gate to the outside world and adopting the pace of nature.

Perfect Escape well laid out for three couples
This house has everything you want for a weekend away and a base to explore the Mendocino Coast. A lovely layout with big bedrooms that are well separated and very quiet it's ideal for a multi-couple getaway. Great bathrooms great kitchen and world-class view of the ocean. Plus it's on a quiet side street only a mile or two from town so convenient but incredibly quiet. Like any rental, a thing or two was broken while we were there. Vacasa generally updates you on these before you sign so just pay attention. The dishwasher was broken for us and there is no telescope. Overall an outstanding value with excellent beds and dining set up

the property is gorgeous but the windows need a cleaning. what could have been outstanding views were obscured by very dirty windows. we've lived on the coast and recommend the windows be cleaned at least once a month. hope vacasa can change this.

The views of the ocean from three sides of the house are stunning! The house is big with plenty of room to spread out. A five minute walk to the beach. The house was clean and readily prepared for our arrival and check in and check out was a breeze. Some minor issues with screen, doors, and windows, not opening easily or at all. The house has quite a few needed handyman type repairs that could probably all be taken care of in a couple of days. The views and location make this house so over the top wonderful that it is still a five star rating even with some minor issues.

We came to this new home to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. We enjoyed this place very much. The decorations were beautiful and the views were nice. Everything was conveniently located which made it easy to get where we need to go and back at a decent time. The only down fall was the dirty cup with lipstick still on it and trash under the chair in lower level room. The back door was very hard to open. The most of the windows would not open. The fireplace wasn’t working properly. Thank you

The views were stunning. Need was comfortable. No instructions were available for the tv & 4 remotes. Fireplaces not functional. Garage door opener does not work from outside. House is not in the meadow as pictured, but across the street. The big issues still unresolved, is that i changed the arrival date immediately after booking, yet still have not received a refund for the extra paid day

Best property on the coast!
This was our second time to enjoy this home. It was clean, bed comfortable. 190 degree view of the ocean and beach access very close. TV updated since our last visit and it was splendid! You have access to anything for which you have an account. The home is very spacious, but we were just 2. The downstairs is like an apartment, even has its own access. We enjoyed watching the sheep across the street, they do everything in a clump. The weather was perfect! If I owned this wonderful home I would keep the yard trimmed and perhaps have an umbrella to put up on the deck. I would put a nice area rug in the living room...it would look nice and absorb some of the echo. I would definitely update the kitchen pots, pans and wine glasses. It would be challenging to accommodate 6 people with what is there. I am not complaining, just making suggestions. We love this property and would come back again for sure.

Best View on the coast! Comfortable Roomy and Perfect!!
The views from this home were breathtaking all week!! We absolutely loved it! The beds and furnishings very comfortable. The master shower and tub are incredible. Plenty of space to put all your belongings. Two living areas so it was very comfortable. Gualala point was the biggest beach and very close 5-10 min drive. Cooks beach was walking distance and perfect! There are lots of trails closeby to hike and have picnics. From the home you don't feel so close to the beach that you feel like you're on a cliff but NOTHING is in the way of your view to see the beach or walk right over. This was the perfect stay. Out and away from hustle bustle...very peaceful. All the stars were in view at night on the clear nights. A couple small grocery stores are in Gualala 2-5 min away. A one screen movie theatre up near point arena light house. The light house had incredible views. It was only a few hours up to the large growth redwoods in Humboldt State Forest. The coast had a lot of turns and mountains in areas so be ready to drive carefully and small cars are probably easier but honestly we got used to it and drove the whole thing in a huge expedition so its all safe and doable just new to people driving in mountains and on bluffs. We are definately coming again. The home was perfect. Very large balcony. Wonderful views. We even brought Granny who is 90 and she loved it! There are stairs so we just held her arms and she walked them. She loved the views from the home and we had SO much fun playing with the kids on the beaches!
