"A lovely hillside development of purpose built rooms in the mountains. We received a warm reception. The room lovely and inventive in its design. We really loved it. A small terrace outside was where our breakfast was served, and this was superb. The secluded location served to teem with songbirds, I've rarely heard so many welcome the start of the day. A perfect location, a short drive from Corte where we had dinner in the evening. "

"I’d like to write about this apartment, but can’t because, despite booking and paying for it 5 weeks in advance, the apartment was given to someone else. We didn’t meet the owner either who, when we phoned him, we were told he’d made an ‘error’, and that was the end of the conversation. Perhaps a mistake, but probably not, and the inconvenience of having to find other accommodation at 8.00 in the evening was unbelievable (Corte has real accommodation shortages). "Fantastic stay in this charming spot. The owner, Laure, was the perfect host and catered to our every need including some good recommendations for what to see and where to eat in the area. We only stayed 3 nights, but definitely should have stayed longer!"

"A Bella Scusa is nicely furnished and Christophe was taking care of us. As we stayed in Bastelica out of season he organized a little home made dinner for us. Breakfast was fresh and local. Excellent teas are available for guests. The living room is comfortable and accommodating. The rooms are very clean and well furnished. We like outdoors and did a great hike nearby in Val D‘Ese to the Pozzi (see pictures). In town there is even a little supermarket. Would definitely come here again. "
