"The neighborhood was a real Italian neighborhood and not a tourist neighborhood of tiny, twisty streets and passageways. It was a bit loud all day and night with people talking very loudly. We closed the windows and used the A/C at night and it was quiet and we slept well. Our hosts communicated well and were very responsive to our requests."

"We quite enjoyed our stay at Donato's flat in Salerno. It's located right on the edge of the historic district, an easy walk to everything. The sea walk is close by, as are the cathedral and Minerva's Garden. There are many many restaurants nearby. Communication with Donato and his son, Roberto, was excellent. Roberto met us at the train station and took us directly to the flat. Now, there are some 76 stairs--we counted--to get to the fourth floor, and no elevator. It was no issue for us--part...

"This property was wonderful and Stefania was a great host. We loved Salerno so much that we booked an extra night at the last minute. Stefania allowed us early check and her family met us and helped walk our luggage to the apartment. The coffee/drinks/snacks were a huge plus! The area around the apartment had great food (highly recommend Al Dente!) and night life. Only down fall to this apartment was the neighbors dog who barked at every passerby. Still fully recommend this stay! "

"What a lovely few days we had in Salerno! The apartment is in a great location within walking distance to the shops, restaurants, waterfront, Duomo and other sites. Giusy and Pasquale were the perfect hosts and offered an immaculate and comfortable apartment. "Easily accessible from the train station. Centrally located. CLEAN AND SPACIOUS! We also easily walked to the ferry port for day trips to Amalfi, Positano, and trained to Agropoli. We cannot say enough what it means to have cleanliness in Italy. Will be back for certain!"
