"My husband and I stayed at Hotel Casa for a week in Amsterdam. We were a little hesitant because it is outside the city centre. However, we are very happy we made the decision to stay here. It is a quiet area that provided a refuge from the hustle and bustle of the city center. Central station is less than a 10 minute ride from Amstel Station, which is right next to the hotel. It is very nicely located next to the train station and lots of food and shopping. It is a short 7 to 9 minute train into Amsterdam Centraal and about a 25 minute bus ride to Zaanse Schans.
