This detached bungalow is on a 600m² site in the romantic Pressnitztal between Niederschmiedeberg and Schindelbach, at the end of a quiet estate and right by the edge of a forest. The house was built in 1980 and renovated in 2015.
The bungalow of around 50m² has a living and dining room with a cosy sofa corner that can be converted into a bed for two people, a coffee table, a 42“ LCD satellite TV with a CD/DVD player, a dining table for up to four people, and a large window with a direct view of Pressnitztal. The little kitchen is equipped with a mini oven, a ceramic hob, a fridge with a freezer compartment, a microwave, a toaster, a kettle and a filter coffee machine. The bedroom is furnished with two single beds (90cm wide) that can also be joined together as a double bed. The modern bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet, washbasin, hairdryer and illuminated mirror. Bed linen and towels can be provided at a small supplementary charge. All the rooms have heating. Internet is not available.
The 600m² site is right by the edge of the forest and is fully fenced in. The terrace, shielded from views in, provides garden furniture, a sun shade and two loungers. There is also a grill for leisurely grill evenings. There are two free car parking spaces in front of the house. The owner can provide two bicycles for use free of charge, so you can explore the surroundings and cycle paths amidst nature. A maximum of two pets are allowed for a fee.
A taxi transfer on the arrival and departure day to or from the Annaberg-Buchholz train station or bus station is included in the rental price.
The Erzgebirge are an ideal recreational area in summer and in winter. You can go hiking or cycling through a charming landscape and experience pure nature. Enjoy extensive forested areas, the clean air and the peace and quiet. Hiking and cycling paths start on the doorstep, or cross-country skiing trails in winter. You can go on trips to the nearby castles Augustusburg, Burg Scharfenstein or Schloss Wolkenstein. The city of Chemnitz is ca. 35km away. It is only about an hour by car to Dresden. You can cross the border nearby at Reitzenhain for trips to neighbouring Czech Republic, where you can visit the Bohemian spa triangle (Karlovy Vary, Marianske Lazne and Frantiskovy Lazne) or go on a day trip to the capital Prague (about 75 minutes by car). You can use the leisure pool “Aqua Marien” all year round, with slides, a sauna and wave pool. There are countless active recreational possibilities, as the Pressnitztal cycle path runs past near the house. The well-known Pressnitztal railway is a cycle ride away or about half an hour’s walk. Motorbike enthusiasts can go on new tours every day along the partly curvy mountain roads. The nearest grocery shop is two kilometres away.
