"Great position and very helpful staff. Parking a bit tight but it works. No instructions for the tv and 1st time ever we never got it to work. It was late so didn’t ask for help."

"The location was not great for walkers/pedestrians coming from the train station or airport to the Big Market SQ. or the Fish market sq. (Central Business Dist.) Also, there was alot of messy construction outside the front entrance, by the highway/freeway. Great hotel though, especially if you drive or are in GRN for a conference/event at the Martini Arena."

"Property was very clean with kind and helpful staff who helped carry our heavy luggage up the stairs and even ran our dishes in the dishwasher for us. Breakfast service was great with many options. It was a little hard to sleep on hot nights (visited in August) since the neighborhood was too noisy to keep the windows open, but I guess that is what happens when you choose a convenient city center location sometimes. The area was beautiful and very walkable, just steps to the famous Vismarkt, so I can't complain."

"I decided to stay in this Hotel because of it's facilities ie the pool & the nearby lake, as I moved into an apartment in Central Groningen on Monday. My extended family will probably come out to visit me however over the coming months, so i needed somewhere decent for them to stay & the flank Hotel certainly didn't dissapoint"

"Excellent choice and interesting concept just over canal from centrum. Well thought out. Excellentb breakfast buffet the day we ate in. Originally geared for students but now has guests of all ages. Nothing student or hostel about the faccilities or staff. Good wifi. Good mattresses. AC, which is only helpful in a brief timeframe this far north but we appreciated having it that stay. The rooms have excellent sound proofing."
