My children immediately fell in love with the environment Due to the weather we were unable to use the pool but it looked great. We were able to take a dip in the hot tub and it was so refreshing. "We really enjoyed our stay and especially building fires in the cold weather! The manager was extremely kind and easy to work with during our stay. It is a bit of a drive out, so be ready for some country roads. This is not the property owners fault, but just for transparency there are lots of loose dogs (over 10) on nearby properties to be mindful of on your stay. Some are car chasers and stay out in the road. "

"We were in town for a wedding. This was the perfect home for our stay!"

"Upon Friday arrival, entered gate and the brick walk to the front door was covered in sand and dirt. To the left of the front door on the porch sat a styrofoam cooler, lid to the side and a bag of garbage in it. Inside the house seemed reasonably clean but by the time we visited each room we had killed two scorpions. Out back by the lakeside the nice grass that is portrayed in the listing appears to have not been mowed this year and had sticker burrs growing closer to the house. On the back...

"Stayed for a high school fishing tournament. Perfect for our needs and close to boat ramp."

"The bed was comfortable. The decor nice. Bathroom and kitchen supplies adequate. Kitchen table and sofa were a good size for two and comfortable. Nice and quiet. However, the shower and kitchen sink were on the primitive side and the whole place could have stood a good wipe down."

"With all the homecoming activities we were barely there during our visit. Though it was outside Waco, still pretty convenient for everything in Waco. Hosts were very nice and responsive. "

"We rented the boathouse for our family for my daughter’s graduation from Baylor. It was perfect because it’s close enough to Waco but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. Our family enjoys fishing and camping, so this location was perfect!! There are so many things to do at the ranch, everyone was entertained all weekend. The staff was so helpful and friendly!"

"Great stay. Great hosts!"

"Overall a very nice little place. It is right in front and beside houses so it’s not as secluded as it seems online. It states that it sleeps 3, a queen bed and a futon, however unless it’s a kid that is your 3rd guest, I’d not recommend this place as the futon is small. Everything else was great and they thought of lots of small details. "

"We loved our time here. The house itself is wonderful and has many thoughtful touches, like throw blankets just where you would want them, charging cables, and toiletries. Our dogs had the best time in the back yard and kept demanding to go outside every five minutes. We took a couple of long walks around the property, a lovely wooded area but the freeway is closer than I expected."
