"This property is was great for our group! Not a high end place but it has everything you need including well equipped kitchen, dishwasher and washer. The sinks in each room were great! Barbara is awesome host! She even brought come Christmas cookies and Schnapps for us. So thoughtful!!!"

"Beautiful property, great amenities. River just down the path. Amazing views of the mountains. Great trails right outside your door. The Gentleman who runs the hotel there was great. Funny and helpful with anything you need. If you are looking for a quite getaway, this place is great. Note... Sauna is an add on, you need to pay for energy used. Didnt use it, so wasnt an issue."

"A wonderful get away in a rustic Austrian house. Norbert, the host, was always on hand for a chat and schnapps! Wonderful scenary everywhere! Unfortunately, the worst weather in May for 50 years. Didn't spoil the holiday but some of the passes were closed, 80 CMS of snow on the Grossglockner, not good on a motorcycle!"

"Wir, eine Gruppe von 7 langjährigen Freunden, haben eine wunderbare Woche in dem gemütlichen, liebevoll renovierten alten Bauernhof in St. Veit verbracht. Wir haben uns alle sehr wohl gefühlt in dem schönen Haus. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, die gemütliche Stube lädt zum Lesen, Entspannen, Plaudern ein, die Bäder sind modern und komfortabel renoviert. Und die Umgebung des Hauses ist wunderschön und ideal zum Langlaufen, Skitouren oder Skifahren."

"Wir haben im September 14 Tage dort verbracht. Die Lage ist unbeschreiblich schön. Von dort aus kann man gut wandern und andere Aktivitäten durchführen. Die Lage zum Großglockner ist einfach fantastisch .Das Haus selber ist sauber und es ist alles da, was man täglich benötigt. Das Grundstück ist eingezäunt, sehr zur Freude unseres Hundes. Im Ort gibt es einen kleinen Supermarkt, der alles hat zum Leben. Insgesamt können wir das Ferienhaus weiter empfehlen. Danke für den schönen Urlaub Frau...

"De hut is ruim, comfortabel en van alle gemakken voorzien. De locatie is één van de mooiste waar we ooit verbleven. Een fantastisch uitzicht op de bergen. Meneer Gomig is een gentlemen. Het enige nadeel was dat de informatie over de betalingen en de locatie op de VRBO website niet duidelijk was. De hut is niet in Lienz maar 20 minuten bergopwaarts op een doodlopend weggetje. Dus je moet wel van rust houden. Verder is er geen internet en zeer beperkt mobiel bereik. Heerlijk rustig dus!"

"This is a unique place to experience Grossglockner surrounded by its spectacular mountain peaks. The house is off the beaten path at the end of a beautiful high altitude valley. The place is easily accessible from main Grossglockner transit on an unpaved road. Drive an SUV or equivalent. Excellent restaurants and stores are just a short drive away.
