"The hotel was clean, the room although considered to be the standard room… it was huge. Loads of storage and there was no noise coming from nearby rooms. The staff at reception and bar, very polite, friendly and helpful."

"I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hotel. I expected that as an older building it would be somewhat outdated and old fashioned. In fact most of the facilities appeared to have been recently renovated from the huge triple room we had to the spa and the restaurant. Spa area is not huge but I enjoyed the wave machine in the pool and the sauna was the best I have been in. Breakfast was perfectly adequate. I didn’t dine in the restaurant but Easy Pizza next door was good. Location convenient for all attractions and we walked everywhere except the zoo which was an easy tram ride. Definitely recommend. "
