Beautiful, cosy apartment house "Chalet Schwendihus". In the district of Schwendi, outside the resort, 2.6 km from the centre, on a main road, south facing position. For shared use: garden. Patio. In the house: WiFi, storage room for skis, central heating system. In Winter: please take snow chains. Stepped path to the house. Parking at the house, communal covered parking (extra). There is nothing in Schwendi so a short train ride to/from Grindelwald makes this property a nice place to relax away from the noise. We had to go into Grindelwald to get the key and check in, which is not explained in the documents, however, they are very nice people. The only other negatives are the wifi is poor downstairs and the room was full of flies. Apparently screens are not a thing in Switzerland. Overall, I would stay there again.
