Stayed for two nights and saw one vehicle go past, other than that, no traffic noises and no sounds other than nature. Rain on the roof, birds, and one frog calling from the pond.Would highly recommend for someone wanting to slow down for a few days."

The porch had a beautiful view and was nice to sit under one rainy afternoon. Little shops near by. Saw a bear cub while out driving which was pretty awesome.Highly recommend staying and we plan to come back. Thanks so much."

It was very clean and spacious - plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate our crew. The kids had a lot of fun playing in the Creek - and we spent many of our days hiking to the various waterfalls within reasonable driving distance. The owner was very gracious and responsive."

"My husband and I stayed here for our 30th anniversary. It was definitely our favorite rental we have ever stayed in! The cabin was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed. We spent every evening relaxing in the hot tub after a full day of hiking while watching Heartland (seemed appropriate for the area :)). There was little/no traffic...only the sounds of nature and the neighboring horses could be heard (and the occasional yipping of the coyotes). I loved driving through the neighborhood...

"Our family really enjoyed the stay at the get-away near the lake! The scenery was beautiful, secluded, and met our needs. Communication with the owner was easy with a quick turn around. The only issue was that we had no cell service which might be what some folks might like. It made it difficult to make contact when there was an issue. We ate most of our meals in and found everything we needed - from salt & pepper, pans, knives, cutting boards to the nice outdoor grill. The listing doesn't show the master bedroom/bath, but they are spacious, and the bath has two vanities, stand up shower as well as a large, jetted tub (we didn't use the tub). Showers were very hot, and the water pressure is amazing! The porch wraps around 3/4 of the cabin...

Get your bait from there too and be prepared to buy some soap from the local stores, they smell so good! If you wake up early, before sunrise and you peak over to the other pond, you’ll see deer hopping around in the mountains fog. I am definitely coming back here."
