"The Josephine room was amazing. We booked it for a week over Christmas with the goal of having a place where we could hunker down and cook a nice meal on the 24th and 25th. The place was perfect. It's a short walk into town and the Christmas market, or you can walk along the canal, or even head into the hills for a hike which we took advantage of on a couple occasions. "We had a wonderful stay at Chambre d'Hotes L'Ancienne Ecole. It is a beautiful period property in the lovely town of La Wantzenau. Katia is an amazing host, with passionate knowledge of the Alsace area. Nothing was too much trouble, with a tasty French breakfast each morning. We will definitely stay here again when we are back in the area."

"This was the best room of our vacation and it is less than a mile from Europa Park. The room was quite large as it is an apartment with a full kitchen, patio, and had beds for 7 people. A double and a bunkbed in the bedroom plus a double and a sleeper sofa in the living room. It has a small patio where you immediately notice how meticulously the yard is maintained. It is beautiful. Easy to find. located in/near a vineyard. the host was fantastic and did everything possible to help make us feel welcome in the French countryside. "Sehr sauber und sehr freundliche Vermieter, die im Haus wohnen. Unkompliziertes Ein- und Auschecken. 5 Minuten zu Fuß zum Europapark und in fußläufiger Entfernung gute Restaurants. Wir waren länger da und hatten häufigen Handtuchwechsel und auch Bettwäschewechsel. Das einzige, was nicht so gut ist: Bei vier Personen wird es sehr warm im Zimmer. Kann ich sehr empfehlen."

"Nous avons été très bien accueilli par Sophie qui est une personne entière et très professionnelle. La chambre est très belle et complètement sous le charme alsacien. "À partir du moment où vous avez en tête que c’est une chambre et non un appartement, qui faut traverser un couloir pour aller dans la salle de bain et toilette ou vous devez passer devant une porte transparente qui donne chez le propriétaire, qui peut sortir a tout moment quand vous êtes en petite serviette sortant de la douche ou en nuisette quand vous sortez des toilettes par exemple, le séjour s’est malgré tout bien déroulé.
