Escape the heat! Come stay at the little cabin on the East Fork of the Little Colorado, nestled in the pines. Greer is a beautiful green gem at 8500 ft. and about 30 degrees cooler than the desert valleys. Fishermen love this locale--a short stroll to the East Fork of the Little Colorado River. Lovely spot to watch birds and other wildlife. Close to hiking too.

King sized bed in large bedroom with a queen size pull out in the main room. Full kitchen. Gas BBQ and porch swing on the front porch, large picnic table in back. Freestanding fireplace is available in the main room (wood is available to purchase at nearby market). There is also baseboard heat. Flat screen TV -Direct TV Satellite, WIFI. Great value in Greer. Please note that this historic property is accessed via a short stairway with railing.
Just a short walk down the road to the East Fork of the Little Colorado River for a picnic or fishing.

Cozy Cabin
We loved the little cabin that we rented. Close to lots of fishing and hiking, but secluded enough to be nice and private. Everything was nice and clean and the cabin stays warm even though it was around freezing at night. My wife and I had a great weekend staying here.

We had a great time at Greer in this cozy and comfortable cabin. It is a very clean and quiet place to stay. Host Harriet is very helpful and responsive. We would love to stay in this cabin when we visit Greer again.

Greer Getaway
The cabin was as described under the Ponderosa pines, quiet and clean with everything we needed for our stay. We have been coming to Greer every few years since 1983 and it remains one of our favorite places.

Stay cool in Arizona
This cottage was the perfect home base for many hikes in the National Forests of eastern Arizona. It was clean and comfy and Harriet was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back!

Quiet cabin in a quiet village
This is the 3rd time we've stayed here. It's simple and clean, no fancy frills, and located on a quiet side road across the river from the main Greer town. Close to hiking, fishing, wildlife-watching, boating, etc. No doubt we'll make it a 4th time next year!

Perfect getaway. Great location. Liked being on east side of Greer looking down upon the town.
We loved the cabin. The only thing that was bothersome was the smell of urine throughout the cabin.. Needs a good carpet & furniture & bedroom quilt cleaning to get rid of odor. Was very overpowering.

True rustic hideout
We stayed 5 night's and enjoyed it very much!! Location is great and is nice and quiet! Also the host Ms.Harriet is superb and is very helpful. The shower is really not set up for a big guy like me but you are in the mountains!!! One more thing that add's to the charm of this Gem is the floor slope especially in the kitchen area, once again I say appreciate it YOU are in the incredible ARIZONA mountains!! We look forward to our next visit!! Thank you Ms.Harriet

Nice cabin.
VERY CLEAN - NO SPIDERS!! Smaller than advertised. It is 20 x 30 = 600 sf. It's on the quiet side of town. Remodeled bath, glass top stove. If you plan on cooking, you may want to bring your own cookware. There was no bakeware, crappy cutlery, crappy silverware, very low grade cookware. I guess the good stuff disappears. Internet intermittent and slow. Overall, great cabin. I will be staying there again!!

So cute!
My husband and I stayed at this cabin for our first year wedding anniversary. It was exactly as described! Very cute and quaint. A perfect walk to the Molly Butler Lodge and the diner in town. The Little Colorado River is visible from the walking path and is so pretty and peaceful. The property owner was responsive and helpful. Would 100% stay here again and again. It is tucked away and just wonderful. Plus parking and access to streaming services to watch movies and such!
