2 miles in the other direction is Port Chester that has 30+ restaurants with huge variety of cuisine(s) and price points. Check out Mario Bataly's Tarry Lodge & more. Port Chester also has the movie theater, Costco, and and other shopping.

Rye Play land and other coastal / beach activities are all close.

This area of CT / NY have many little villages to explore, or the larger White Plains 10 mins away.

Plenty of outdoor hikes, trails, parks, and more.

1 mile from Greenwich metro north stop.
Centrally located and close to 95, 287, and the Hutch & Merit parkways.
Street parking if needed, is always close, but strict. (pay attention to signs)

Please keep noise to a respectful level after 9:30pm to respect other guests or neighbors.

Great for our short stay!
We enjoyed this home very much even though we were not there very long. It is in a great location and very quiet. Everything was as described and the host (Rob) was very quick to respond to any questions. You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay here. Just a short drive from NYC!

This fully equipped second floor apartment exceeded our expectations. It was spotless, had off-street parking for two cars, very comfortable firm beds, big screen TV, and a lovely living room area for gathering. Communications with the host were great and check in/check out was simple and easy. I would stay there again and definitely recommend.

Great apartment in a great location
I was working remotely for the week while visiting friends and family in both CT and NY. The location is close to 95 and Metro North and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Owner is very responsive for any questions.

Excellent place to stay in Greenwich! Beds were super comfy, kitchen was well-equipped, plenty of towels in clean bathroom, choice of dining room or living room for chatting, plenty of space in living room when Murphy bed was open. 2 parking spaces and fast internet. Host always responded quickly and cheerfully. Definitely a 5 star experience!

Wonderful Stay!
This apartment is exactly as photographed and described in the listing. It was a perfect place to stay in Greenwich, near EVERYTHING. Yet VERY quiet. The hosts communication was exceptional. The apartment has everything you need, and is well equipped. Parking was great. It is in a very safe and quiet residential location. It was the perfect place to stay in Greenwich with easy access to shopping, restaurants, malls, and parks.

First VRBO experience sets bar high
As a senior & VRBO newbie, I had qualms, but this clean, comfy, well appointed place was a win! Host was highly responsive - thank you! Sizable rooms, plenty of tech to entertain & accommodate work/devices. Quiet & off main drag but convenient to restaurants, businesses, shopping. Felt safe at Safe House for two calm nights after stressful business days. When I need to return, will definitely consider rebooking.

Lovely and comfortable apartment
We stayed for a week over Christmas during some very cold weather. The apartment is clean and very comfortable. Well-equipped kitchen, blazing fast wifi, TVs with all the channels, Netflix, etc. and very comfortable beds. And this apartment has a reserved off-street parking space, which is a huge plus. Minutes from shops and restaurants but on a very quiet street. The landlord is super responsive to any special requests. Couldn’t ask for a nicer stay!

Comfortable, convenient apt and helpful owner
The cost to stay here vs rent 2 hotel rooms was nearly identical and this apt provided so much more space and the ease of being able to cook meals and not always eat out. Everything we needed was provided, toiletries, kitchen items, etc. with a nicely updated comfortable space that both teens and adults liked. Our one issue was it was too warm (a nice problem to have midwinter) and the owner was welcoming and helpful to get the temperature just as we liked it, which was greatly appreciated. He responded immediately to our requests. Would stay here again.

There was an envelope indicating that we should leave a tip for the cleaners, like one might see for a hotel when there is daily housekeeping. Cleaning is included in the fee.

Incredible weekend in Greenwich at the Safe House
The property was super comfortable and had everything we need! The living room was an awesome hang-out spot. The neighborhood was walkable -- bank, grocery store, yummy Thai restaurant. And the neighbors were friendly! We were visiting to see a concert in Port Chester and ended up having just as much fun staying in Greenwich as we did at the show. I also left my car keys behind and the host was very responsive and coordinated mailing them back to me with the property caretakers. Hopefully not something that he has to do often, but I greatly appreciated it!

Perfect for group of adults
My family stayed at this property for a long weekend in lieu of hotel so they’d have a kitchen and more space/separate private spaces. They said it worked great for their needs, and I’m glad they had the kitchen because they did some baking to bring to a party and they didn’t have to go out to eat for meals. They appreciated having things like extra sheets, towels and a hairdryer, and all the rooms had separate climate control, including the multi-use bedroom/living room. Neighborhood was quiet and easy to get to. Apartment was clean and instructions for checkout were clear and easy to accomplish. Highly recommend, would definitely book for family again in the future.
