Unique Family Compound 1 hour from ATL. Housing for 20+ people

Bogle Farms is an 80 acre rural, private compound with accommodations for multiple family units or large groups. We don't often rent through VRBO so please check our Bogle Farms online for numerous recent reviews and current availability. The Farm is a secluded retreat offered only to one family/group at a time. We offer 10 King/Queen Size beds in 7 bedrooms and 3 sleeping lofts. There are 4 bedrooms in the recently renovated Garden Cottage and 3 rustic, yet modern (with AC) cabins each with a bedroom and sleeping loft. We offer a gorgeous, resort-style pool. Please check out our property online by searching Bogle Farm! Additionally, we offer a 2900 square foot enclosed event barn, large outdoor, covered fireplace and pavilion and a manicured great lawn which is perfect for a large tent or lawn games. Many more reviews and information can also be found online.
Our farm is designed to be a quite, peaceful retreat and is perfect for family reunions, weddings, corporate retreats and groups attending Auburn Home Football games. We have horses, chickens, goats, and donkeys which children (and adults!) enjoy watching. For large groups and events we offer multiple meeting venues including a new 2900 square foot wedding and event barn, an intimate, private garden with cedar pavilion, and the Fireplace Pavilion and Great Lawn. We promise your family a 'once in a lifetime' experience in the hills of west central Georgia near Callaway Gardens, Columbus, Atlanta and LaGrange and Roosevelt's Little White House in nearby Warm Springs. The Garden Cottage cottage is a 4 BR, fully renovated home with a large living and dining area and fully equipped kitchen. The 3 cabins have small kitchen areas with refrigerators, microwaves and sinks. Each cabin has central heat and air, a bedroom with queen size bed and a sleeping loft, also with a queen size bed. The cabins are nestled under old-growth oak and cedar trees 1/4 mile from the nearest traffic, but a short walk or drive to the main cottage. In spring and summer guests can enjoy the large, stone swimming pool which has been constructed within 30 feet of the cabins' front porches.
The property is a perfect venue for weddings or corporate events desiring a location where the venues are adjacent to the housing facilities.
Recently the farm has been used by national film production companies for national commercial shoots including for Carter's Little Planet children's clothes and the introduction of the new 2024 F150. series trucks.

Though set in a rural, country setting, Bogle Farms is far from 'roughing it'! Located less than an hour from Atlanta's airport and less than 10 minutes from I-85, Bogle Farms feels like a step back in time---but with thoroughly modern amenities. The view from the barn and fireplace pavilion area provides a wonderful venue from which to view the native whitetail deer, turkeys, hawks and other wildlife. Three fishing ponds are on the property and within walking distance from the cottage and cabins, as well as miles of hiking trails.

We do not allow firearms or fireworks on the property at any time nor do we allow ATV's.

Beautiful open spaces
Our family enjoyed this property with so many options like volleyball , cornhole, soccer and swimming in the pool. The property was very spacious and the children enjoyed just being able to run without boundaries.

Renters Beware!! Do not be fooled by the positive reviews!
My family and I evacuated due to a hurricane in September 2019. As a business owner and mother of 4, I was looking forward to some much needed relaxation and to be able to decompress from daily stressors. Other than a few minor issues, all was well the first couple of nights. It was quiet and no one bothered us. It was our last night that was disturbing. We were sitting by the pool while cooking out. Randomly, after being there several days, and this never occurring, the waterfall came on. This was about 9pm in the evening. Around 10pm I had gone into one of the cabins. Upon returning outside my 21 yr old daughter, visibly disturbed, told me of her strange encounter with the owners. The owners, popped out of the bushes and approached my daughter and her boyfriend, (the wife being in her robe) and began interrogating them about our departure the following day. They were very unfriendly and rude. It was apparent that the reason for the waterfall coming wad so that we could not hear them in the bushes, spying on us. Coincidentally, the waterfall shut off moments after they left. 🤔 Upset by what I was told - I sent a message to the owner asking if everything was okay. He responded, “of course”. I said nothing more. The next morning the wife stopped in at the main house where my mother stayed during our trip. Again, unfriendly, rude and insulting to even my 73 yr old mother. We checked out and went about our way trying to not let the odd, intrusive behavior of the owners ruin our whole experience. 1 week later I noticed the damage deposit was not returned to my card. I contacted the owner and he informed me, “the check was in the mail”. Odd. I’ve rented many places and never has the owner “mailed” me a check. I waited 3 days and after no check in the mail I contacted homeaway. I asked them if it was standard to mail a check for the return of a deposit and they said, “no”, and that they would inform the owner that it was not appropriate to mail checks to renters. 2 weeks later I finally received a check in the mail. The owner seems to be very passive aggressive and manipulative. I still do not understand their behavior but it was obvious that he was intentionally delaying the return of funds. I guess to add to our already stressful time while evacuating. Lucky for me I don’t live check to check so it did not hurt me as he intended. Very creepy, malicious, hateful people. You’ve been warned.

Great time, Great place!
This was our 2nd year. Thom is a wonderful host and the 12 Grandkids absolutely love it - so do their parents. We're already booked for next year. We highly recommend the Farm - you certainly won't regret it!

We enjoyed our stay, especially the pavilion area. The house was pleasant and adaptable.
The property is gorgeous. We enjoyed the views from the pavilion and spent time there. we also enjoyed the animals. The facilities were adequate with a little updating they could be even better. We would enjoy another visit to the farm, especially when we could utilize the pool.

Beautiful area, well kept, nice appointments.
Lovely pool, nice buildings and a good location. Only problem was the distance from the cottage to the 3 cabins and pool. Also, when we did get together for a meal, there was only the one table by the pool. Loved the rocking chairs on the porches of all the buildings and the helpfulness of Thom Bogle and his wife. We had a great family time and celebration of my 90th birthday. Thank you

Wow! What a great place for large family!
Fantastic! Really,,,Better than we ever expected. We had us (we're 70) 5 kids w/spouses and 12 grandkids. No complaints from anyone! Hospitality second-to-none. The farm was beautiful, the accommodations were perfect, the pool was wonderful, and the pavilion and area next to it was just right for eating, and then for family kickball. We've already booked for next summer. We HIGHLY recommend Bogle Farm. So glad we came. Thanks again to Thom and Gail. You hit it out of the park.

Excellent place for a family reunion.
This was a perfect place to get the kids away from cell phones, and allow them opportunities to play with each other, feed animals, fish, and sit by the fire to tell stories.

Great for family vacation
A great place to spend time with the family, wish all the 4 cabins were together. Had lots of fun with the animals and took loads of pictures and Tom was nice who let kids pet and feed the animals.

Country living
This was a wonderful place to stay. This is an amazing place to spend time with kids and grandkids. It kind of forced the preteens to disconnect from their video games,iPads, etc and enjoy the great outdoors. ( too bad some of the adults could not seem to disconnect). Anyways property is exactly as described in terms of rooms and cabins. The property itself is stunning. We were all able to eat as a family every night inthe big barn. We grilled out every night and just made fixings to go along with the meats. The lake had plenty of fishing. The volleyball court was enjoyable family fun. I brought a lot of games for kids to play during day and they loved the huge pool. We also brought games for adults at night but there was plenty there also. The only critique I could offer is that the cabins could use some more utensils and basic cooking utensils but that can be remedied easily. There is plenty of dishes and drink ware. The big house is a wonderful place to gather for family breakfast and late night games. I would highly recommend and hope to book again in future.

This place is incredibly special!
I've never been to a more idyllic place with the people I love. The cabins and the cottage are so much roomier and nicer than any hotel room you're ever going to rent in this area. Meanwhile the pool, grills, and outdoor fireplace are simply perfect for a cookout ending in Smores consumption! If I had a daughter getting married I would beg her to have the reception on this magical property. The lighted , squared off area in front of the fireplace/band platform looks like something out of a movie wedding. The Bogels are fantastic people and have put their hearts and souls into this place. You get a palpable sense of it when you're there. Gather some families and find a way to book this place together. You'll have some great memories if you do. I promise!

Perfect Location for Our Wedding
I knew from the minute I first stepped foot on Bogle Farm that it was the place I wanted to get married. It is a beautiful property with cozy cabins and a cottage to stay in, and Thom Bogle and his wife are very welcoming and accommodating. It was so nice to be able to rent the farm for the days surrounding the wedding (Thursday through Sunday) - this gave us plenty of time to set up and tear down so that we never felt rushed. Being able to stay on the property in the cottage and cabins (which were very clean and had nice, comfortable beds), made the experience feel more like being at home. Our wedding could not have been a greater success, and we are so grateful to have found Bogle Farm! Many guests commented on how beautiful and perfect the farm was for our wedding. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a wedding venue, place for a family reunion, or simply a place to get away for a weekend.

Our wedding could not have been more perfect thanks to the Bogle family!
I cannot rate Bogle Farms highly enough. We were looking for a place where our friends and family could come and go for a full weekend and Bogle Farms was completely perfect! We had over 200 guests and they all came and went at different times. With the way the farm is set up and with the Bogle family's generous hospitality, we were able to spend precious quality time with so many loved ones! Thom and his daughter Britney are complete pros at helping everything run smoothly. Britney is a professional wedding planner and she was due with her first baby right around the time of the wedding. We knew we would have a substitute planner the day of, and Britney was having phone calls with all of us leading right up to the birth of her son. She even checked in the day of and everything was running perfectly thanks to her exquisite organizational skills. Thom was also very available and always around to make sure I had water to drink and a chair nearby if I needed it during the ceremony (it was a very hot day). I cannot sing their praises enough - the combo of the beautiful location, thoughtfully laid out ceremony site, and incredible hospitality was just perfect. After the wedding, many of our guests told us our wedding was one of the best they'd ever been to!

GET MARRIED HERE! (or come for the weekend, or a family reunion, or just to hang out.)
When my (then) fiance and (now) husband (!!!) and I began looking for venues we knew we wanted 2 things: 1) a place where getting from the ceremony to the reception required zero additional travel, and 2) a space where our wedding party could stay for the duration of the weekend- so we could really enjoy the love and laughter of the people who are important to us. We toured Bogle Farms and were instantly enamored. We had already set our sights on a fall wedding, but the farm is beautiful year round! We knew when we decided on Bogle Farms, that our wedding that it would be a great day-- but the wedding day we had exceeded all expectations! We had the most beautiful weather, and a super moon (!!) that added to the already incredible atmosphere provided by Bogle Farms. It doesn't hurt that Thom, the owner of Bogle Farms, is one of the friendliest gentlemen you'll ever meet! We cherish our newfound friendship with Thom greatly and are so thankful he was a part of our adventure so far. The hospitality doesn't stop there-- the beauty of Bogle Farms is rooted deeply in the Bogle Family itself, and their genuine desire to make your wedding day a beautiful celebration of who you are. Britney, Thom's daughter, was our day-of coordinator and we could not have done it without her expertise and advice!! I encourage you to visit Bogle Farms before you make a decision-- although I can pretty much guarantee you will fall in love once you do! Love, The Williams'

Our Great Story Wedding
The Bogle Farm is a beautiful setting, for a wedding or just a family gathering. We had just about everyone of our 160 guests make a comment about how beautiful and fun the farm was. The owners made our stay on the property as well as the rehearsal dinner and wedding a beautiful and memorable experience. I highly recommend the Bogle Farm for your next gathering, I know we plan on returning for a family weekend.

fairytale wedding
I had my wedding here this past weekend and all I have to say is this was the FIRST and ONLY venue I looked at. We were blown away with the absolutely beautiful venue. I am honestly not sure what was the best part, the beautiful venue or the Bogle family that owns it. They are the nicest people and were there to help you with anything you needed. I mean I had a dress malfunction literally as I was about to walk down the aisle and Mr. Bogle was there to the rescue! They are great people! Every single one of my guest talked about how beautiful it was and how cool it was that they had cabins and a bridal house to stay in for the entire weekend. We had the best time and I could not have picked a more perfect place to have my wedding! So thank you again Bogle family for everything you did to make this the best weekend I could have asked for!!!! IT WAS PERFECT!!

Great venue (but take care of that cat!)
Pretty farm with great amenities that offer flexibility, style, and fun. We attended a wedding there and loved the bucolic setting. There is this wonderful young cat that lives near the cabins (a stray that is very friendly). He was a highlight of our visit. I would hope that the property owner might look after the cat and keep it fed (as he seemed malnourished).

Engagement party
threw an engagement party for my sister her Aug 26-29.......We thoroughly enjoyed the Bogle's farm......Our family members were 8yrs - 90yrs old and we all had a ball.. Our main event was held in the pavilion part of the estate....it was perfect from the setup of the event to our guest not complaining about the heat because of the awesome breeze coming thru the pavilion on one of the hottest weekends in August.....the oversized fireplace was a great addition for us we gathered around for smores great conversation and breathe taking views of the skies.....the 3 sisters cabins were well equipped and strategicly place away from the main house so that the younger minnenials could kick back and relax by the pool....and you could find my uncle's around the fishing pond most afternoon's....the help in renting a golf carts was a great addition for moving about the compound too.. Oh and let me not forget about all the animals too ready and willing for photo opts 😁...my favorite is Felix the cat....This was definitely a place to remember and will stay on my short list for awesome places to stay....thanks again Mr Thom for all of your help...you definitely have a jewel in the country.....

Amazing what there is to do in Greenville, GA!!!!
Well, you can sleep, eat and play at the farm.... which the 12 of us enjoyed doing! But you can also go to FDR State Park to ride horses (did it twice!) , see FDR museum in Warm Springs (small but nice), Take in Callaway Gardens (our group particularly liked the Treetop Adventure ropes course). We didn't get to the Wildlife park, but we've heard it's very good. Our kids ( 7 year olds) loved the animals on "our farm" and wanted to go outside to say good morning and good night every day we were there... Everyone wants to come back.!!!

Perfect Reunion Weekend
We had our 20th high school reunion at Bogle farm! The destination was perfect as it was close to Atlanta's airport. The cabins and main house are extremely comfortable and clean. The pool area was a highlight for our group! We had hours of conversation while watching our kids swim. Beautiful setting. Thom was an incredible host! At one point we noticed all of the kids were gone because they had join Thom on a tour of the farm and helped him feed the animals. If we needed something, he responded immediately. I have now recommended this place to others as a fabulous place for a reunion. We hope to be back!

Perfect wedding weekend
We had our wedding here and everybody loved it. We had time to set up and everybody was entertained by the pool. The view is spectacular and the atmosphere is amazing. Thom and his family were super nice and helpful. We had all the privacy we wanted but they were there to help when we needed something. We will be back for sure.

Beautiful Georgia retreat!
A group of 15 came to this beautiful property for a corporate retreat. Thom was so responsive and eager to make our stay smooth and unforgettable. The landscape is gorgeous and we had meetings all day in the outdoor space. We enjoyed fire pits at night and everyone had comfortable places to sleep. I plan these events on a regular basis and this was the best experience with anyone online booking website.

Wonderful place for family
My family stayed here in April for my son's wedding. We had the rehearsal dinner at the Farms and everyone enjoyed the beauty of the place. There was great hospitality and accommodation for everything we needed. My family absolutely loved staying here and we would do it again if the opportunity comes.

What a Great Place to Stay and Relax for a Big Family
We honestly had a great time celebrating my grandmother's birthday here. The accommodations were great and the place is even more beautiful than the pictures. Mr. Boggle was great to work with and the farm hand was very helpful and friendly. We had a great big fire in the outdoor fireplace (very cool) , made smores, explored the farm, fed the animals and took in the nearby sites. If you have a big group and want to get away and relax you will not go wrong choosing this place. ALSO, this would be a perfect wedding venue and would be such a fun place for the wedding party to say.

A beautiful weekend for family fun and nature!
Our group of family members ranged from age 22 to 90, and all ages had a fantastic time. The main cottage was perfect for the older ones (with lots of space and conveniences of home). We all really loved the cabin area and the amazing setting by the pool. It was so nice to be out in the fresh air - canoeing, watching the horses, hiking, etc. You can hike on trails for hours which I did! Our last night we cooked out by the cabin area then hung out by the fire til the wee hours and had a blast (even the 90 year old!) I highly recommend this place - and Thom and Gail are wonderful!
