We had a short 2 day stay at the house. It was in a convenient location to downtown Greenville. Unfortunately, the people in the neighborhood leave their dogs outside barking all night (in the cold) but nothing the host could have done about that. It had everything we needed and the host is very attentive.
The house was perfect for my family of 4 with 2 kids (ages 6 and 8). The host was extremely responsive to questions that I had, and the house was well stocked for what we needed. The proximity to the Swamp Rabbit trail and Grocery/ Cafe was definitely a plus!
The house was very clean and comfortable! There was a lot of nice amenities and the beds were comfortable. The host was very helpful and left some treats for us. If we come back to the area we’d definitely stay here again!
Just a quick overnight stay. Was comfortable enough except we didn’t realize the heat was running instead of the AC and it was too warm and smelled mildewy. The master bath needs a clean fresh shower curtain liner as this one was moldy. Otherwise clean and comfy.
Had a girls’ weekend with my sisters and mom. This was an excellent stay. The house was very clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows were great. The host had great communication and was very accommodating. We could not have asked for a better experience.
Tyler had excellent communication and provided lots of little extras to make it feel like home for us and our dogs. Beds were so comfortable. This home is one of the clearest we have ever stayed in! It was close to downtown and all the activities/restaurants. We will stay here again if back in the Greenville area.
This house was perfect for our thanksgiving get away. Cooked a whole thanksgiving meal in this great little kitchen with our family. The house was perfect size for us and we enjoyed sitting around the living room playing games and listening to music. It’s a five minute walk to the trail and we enjoyed how close it was and had a great walk on the trail.
Great newly remodeled home. Easy to get downtown from location on the edge of the city. Host was super communicative. Only drawback was being able to walk our dog as neighbor dogs were loose. But fenced in back yard was fine for our pup.
We loved this house: it was charming and cheerful and amazingly well appointed. It was also spotlessly clean and very close to downtown Greenville. The host, Tyler, was excellent at keeping the lines of communication open and checked in by email each day to ensure all was well.
Tyler was a tremendous communicator.
Everything was as we expected.
Perfect spot for us to go back and forth
to downtown and Fall for Greenville
everyday.
Had a great time visiting our Furman undergrad. Location is great- close to school, downtown Greenville, TR, etc. Nothing was more than a short drive. House was immaculate, we'll equipped, and the owner made communication a breeze. No issues at all, just a wonderful stay!
We really enjoyed our time in Greenville. The house was close to so many fun things to do. The house was very clean. I really appreciate that. Everything you could want in a vacation home was there. As others have said if you have dogs you can’t just let them out. You have to go out the side door and down the stairs. The neighborhood was very quiet.
So, we had a small problem checking in, but it was resolved quickly. Place was clean and neat. I didn’t want to mess it up. The handbook to the home was easy accessible and instructions were easy to follow. I told my wife the next time we come down this is the perfect spot for us to stay if it’s available. Tyler is a great host and is very accommodating to our needs during our visit. Can’t wait to visit soon.
Swamp Rabbit Gateway home was clean, well-stocked, convenient to downtown, and a pleasant stay. Tyler (host) emailed great instructions and information on a timely basis. When I arrived, I couldn't figure out the keypad lock and emailed Tyler. He immediately responded to make sure I got in the house and everything was ok. The house was beyond clean!! The house is small, but very functional. The house was stocked with sponges, soaps, laundry detergent, etc. It is close to the delicious boutique Swamp Rabbit Cafe & Grocery. I have no hesitation to stay here again if we travel to Greenville, SC again.
My husband, our friends, and our two dogs had the best time at this cute lil spot. The home was very clean, dog friendly, and well stocked. We appreciated the snacks left for us, bowls for our doggos, and extra blankets and pillows. Also loved that it was literally next to the Swamp Fox Cafe and Grocery. Only note I would make is that the 2nd door is not connected to the fenced yard - which I didn’t realize until we got there. Our dogs have good recall so it wasn’t a problem for us but keep that in mind if you’re booking for an escape artist dog that might run away if given the chance. We would def book again!

Some Problems
To start with, the property is not in a great neighborhood and there is a pit bull across the street that was not happy to see us and let us know so every time we came in our out. I am very glad his leash did not break! We had some issues with cockroaches and left a day early. Instead of apologizing or offering a partial refund (the owner said he was sorry we felt the need to leave early, but I don't count that as an apology) the owner said he had wished we had told him of the problem at the fist sign of the cockroach and that he had the house treated quarterly. I felt blamed. I thought the first one we saw was a fluke - silly me. I think he needs to treat the house more often.
We really enjoyed our stay at Tyler’s place on Mora. The home was updated, clean, well stocked and in a wonderful location. This home is located very close to downtown Greenville. If need be, I’ll be sure to rent this place again!
