The staff was awesome, very friendly and engaging. I didn't like the water (the water has a yellow/brownish coloration/hue and odor). I was shown a pamphlet explaining the above concern, but nevertheless this was the only thing I didn't like about Hotel 27.

This is my second time staying here, love it for the quietness and safety, all staff was very accommodating. They always have it clean . Checking in and out very easy. The only thing the remote to the tv would not scroll down and they didn't have a replacement for it. Will definitely stay here again

The entire experience was very enjoyable and comfortable, especially after arrival from the long drive from our hometown. The staff helped us to find just the right restaurant for our evening dining and again for lunch after checkout! My wife and I were rested for our long drive home. Definitely a lot of history around this hotel - it was a nice stay. Things are dated as you would expect in a historic place but interesting to be right next to the levee. Breakfast was very light.

I went home for my uncle's funeral. Myself and several family members stayed at Hotel 27. Evert employee from the check in clerk to the housekeepers were extremely nice and accomdating. I am a regular at Hotel 27 however, all of my family members were glad thwy stayed there.
