Designed for travelers who want to visit Greenville—without spending big bucks—this affordable apartment has everything you need for a great weekend stay.
It’s clean, a mere five (5) minutes from Downtown, and features two comfortable, pillow-top, full-sized beds. Did we mention it’s got a fully stocked kitchen, Wi-Fi, a large flat-screen smart TV (no cable), and a washer and dryer? Or that it’s also dog-friendly (sorry, no feline friends at this time)?
The apartment has a back porch/patio area . It also sports a second-story deck overlooking a fenced-in yard. NOTE: The stairs are a bit steep. As such, this listing is not recommended for those with mobility issues or parents traveling with toddlers or older dogs.
Now, let’s get to your burning questions:
Where is the house located?
In the mid-20th century, this area, known as West Greenville, was a working-class neighborhood. When the nearby mills closed, the neighborhood suffered. In recent years, however, locals and visitors have rediscovered this community’s unique charm and prime location. The result has been major investment and renewal.
The Village of West Greenville is currently experiencing widespread revitalization and now homes some of Greenville’s most beloved shops, bakeries, coffee houses, and restaurants. From this home, you’re only steps away. The Anchorage (a James Beard Award-nominated farm-to-table restaurant) is visible from the front porch! However, not every house or street in the area has gotten a makeover—not yet, anyway. Most guests love this area—some wouldn’t stay anywhere else. However, some get unnerved by the fact that parts of the community are still in disrepair. We’ll say this: We have lived here for years. We know West Greenville to be a quiet and safe place, and we love to frequent its establishments.
Nevertheless, we want you to have all the facts to make an informed decision before you book. Our policy is that we do NOT provide refunds if guests arrive and do not like this location.
• Pros: This cool, refurbished home has charm, amenities, and space. It’s ideal for a small family traveling with a dog or couples—and less expensive than booking a couple of hotel rooms. Plus, it’s in one of the coolest parts of Greenville and a mere three minutes from downtown.
• Cons: Again, some homes and streets in West Greenville have not yet experienced renewal. If being in an area undergoing revitalization makes you uncomfortable, this is not the vacation rental for you. Check out one of our other properties. Again, refunds are not given. Please be aware before you book.
